Want to get practical field experience & go overseas? Join us! • WHO: Nature’s Valley Trust & FitzPatrick Institute of African Ornithology • WHAT: Field work & other project involvement for exciting research examining the effects of coastal tourism & development on breeding shorebirds. • WHEN: Min. of 3 months, September 2015 - April 2016. DEADLINE TO APPLY: 30 JUNE 2015 • WHERE: Nature’s Valley & Plettenberg Bay, on South Africa’s southern shore. • WHY: Shorebird populations are in decline worldwide, with nesting areas highly utilized by humans. This project aims to develop conservation recommendations to manage disturbance to these sensitive species & habitats along South Africa’s high-tourism coastline.
