STATEMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS “El Greco Deli Café” SHOP 1/18 MARKET ST ROCKDALE NSW 2216 Use of premises Sale of bulky goods- groceries, delicatessen and café. Type, size and quantity of goods being served- made or transported. Quantities of products held on site will be sufficient to run the business adequately. Warehousing of products is held offsite. The grocery / delicatessen will sell various cheeses in different sizes, olives, oil, pasta, cold meats and other deli products. The cheese and olives are stored in bulk containers. The café will serve coffee etc and sweets, wraps and rolls. The wraps and rolls/ sandwiches will be made on site. All other cold goods will be transported to the premises in refrigerated vans. All other deliveries to be transported / delivered by the suppliers. Trading Hours Business trading hours will be between 6:00am and 9:00pm Monday to Sunday, seven days a week including public holidays and excluding Christmas, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day and Easter. Employees The business will employ approximately 4 people. Signage Signage and advertising will be directly related to the usage of the premises. No signage is to be erected outside of the premises to endanger safety of the public. Adhesive signage is to be placed on the inside of the glass panels on the perimeter of the building. Waste Waste and waste receptacles associated with the usage of the premises are to be stored within the site boundaries. Construction and fit out Construction and fit out finishes of the food premises to comply with Standards 3.2.3 of the ANZFSC under the Food Act 2003. Plant & Machinery to be installed A cool room will be installed, refrigerated displays, coffee machine, food warmer, other deli equipment such as cheese grater and cold meat slicer. Deliveries All deliveries to the site being restricted to 6:00am to 5:30pm. Goods will be delivered to the shop by the suppliers and unloaded in the loading bay at the back of the shop. Parking Parking facilities for staff are provided by the owner on the building premises. A single tandem parking spot has been provided. As indicated on the diagram. Parking facilities for patrons are provided by Council parking station directly across the street from the shop. Toilets Toilet facilities for staff are available on Level 1 of the building premises. A disabled toilet is also available on the premises. Toilet facilities for patrons are provided by the Council directly opposite the shop near the parking entry and exit points
