RED SHORES Set for Summer Promotion
May 2, 2015 – June 21, 2015
RED SHORES Racetrack & Casino at Charlottetown Driving Park and
RED SHORES at Summerside
PROMOTION ELIGIBILITY
1. This promotion is sponsored by the REDSHORES Racetrack & Casino and RED SHORES at Summerside
and is open to any participant who is nineteen (19) years of age or older, except employees of RED
SHORES, Atlantic Lottery (AL), AL’s advertising agencies, or any immediate family of the above.
“Immediate Family” means the spouse, sibling, parent and/or child of an employee referred to above
who resides with that employee.
2. Participants do not need to be Rewards Club Members
3. The chance of being selected in any draw is dependent on the number of eligible entries in the draw
drum.
4. In the event a selected contestant does not meet the eligibility requirements, then RED SHORES has
no obligation to award any prize to that selected contestant.
5. Winners must present valid photo identification acceptable to RED SHORES and sign, before receiving
the prize, a declaration and release, as well as answer a mathematical skill testing question. All answers
are final, and if incorrect, the selected contestant will not receive the prize.
Prizing/Draw Details
6. Weekly Draws: There will be 6 weekly prize draws (12 total: one in each location) held every Saturday
beginning May 9th, 2015 and ending June 13th, 2015. These draws will be held at 8:00 pm or as soon as
possible thereafter with a weekly cut-off time for entry of 8:00 p.m. every Saturday for both RED
SHORES locations during the promotion. Weekly winning passports will be placed back in the drum to
participate in grand prize draw.
7. Grand Prize Draw: There will be one grand prize draw on Sunday, June 21st 2015 at 8:00 pm.
Passports from both locations will be entered into one combined drum and one winner will be selected.
Passports will be accepted until 5:00pm on June 21st ,2015. Passports will be transported from
Summerside to Charlottetown for the grand prize draw.
HOW TO ENTER
Gaming Floor
There are two ways to enter this contest:
1. RED SHORES customers will receive an official completed and valid passport for:
1.1. Spending $10 or more on each of the following locations (adding up to $30 or more): the Casino
floor, Live or Simulcast Racing, any dining outlet excluding alcohol.
Gaming Breakdown:
Slots- spending $10 or more on any slot machine;
Poker– Purchasing $10 or more on Poker buy-in, league or tournament entry.
Blackjack – Purchasing $10 or more worth of chips
Live or Simulcast Racing Breakdown:
Live racing – spending $10 or more in one transaction on a live racing card; which includes our
Superpack promotion.
Simulcast Racing – Spending $10 or more in one transaction on a simulcast track
Fast Bet Players: all fast bet players will automatically be entered.
** When no Pari-Mutuel seller is available, players must take their proof of purchase to the rewards**
desk to get their racing stamp

Spending $10 or more on any of our dining outlets listed below; excludes alcohol:

2. Red Shores customers can spend $50 in any one location to receive an official completed valid
passport stamped with color coordinated department “Wild Card” stamp.
Customers will receive their passports in any location; racing, gaming or dining. Guests must complete
the passport with their signature and phone number. The passports will be stamped at each separate
location, or with a “Wild Card” stamp in one specific location.
3. The guest will then, after completing either method of entry, deposit the Passport in the drum,
located on the Gaming Floor.
MAXIMUM ONE PASSPORT PER PERSON PER DAY.
No purchase necessary
12. If a guest does not wish to receive an official complete and valid passport by one of the methods
listed above, they may request a passport to enter the prize draws. This passport will be identified as the
“RED SHORES Set for Summer” passport. They must complete the passport with their signature, phone
number and hand-drawn facsimile of the RED SHORES logo on the reverse side of the passport. They
will then mail the passport to:

No Purchase Passports mailed to Red Shores must be delivered and in the care of the marketing
department no later the June 21st, 2015 at 5:00 pm
Maximum one passport per person per promotion through the “no purchase necessary” method
DRAWS AND PRIZES
There will be a ballot drum located on the Gaming Floor of each RED SHORES location, clearly labeled
RED SHORES’ “Set for Summer” promotion.
Draws and prizing will occur as follows:
1. Weekly Draws (May 9 – June 13, 2015 Inclusive)
1.1. There will be 6 weekly prize draws held every Saturday of the promotional period in each location.
These draws will be held at 8:00 pm or as soon as possible thereafter at RED SHORES Racetrack and
Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park and Red Shores at Summerside. All winning weekly passports
will be eligible to win the grand prize at the end of the promotion.
1.1.2. Valid passports will be accepted at the both locations until 8:00 pm (or time of draw) on each
Saturday.
1.2. On every Saturday of the promotional period referred to above, one (1) name will be drawn from
the ballot drum in each location.
1.2.1. The winner will receive $500. If the selected winner is a Rewards Club Member they will receive
an additional $25 Irving gas card.
1.2.2. No backup ballots will be required.
1.4. The winning ballots will be returned to the drum and will remain eligible for the remaining RED
SHORES Set for Summer grand prize promotional draw on June 20th, 2015.
1.5. If a person’s name is selected and they have already been allocated $500 for the weekly prize (and
potentially $25 Irving gas card) draw in either location, they will not be eligible for a chance to another
weekly draw.
2. Weekly Prizes
Weekly Prizes are valued at $525
($500 cash + $25 Irving gas card = $525 value)
3. Grand Prize
Grand Prize is valued at $10,000: broken down to $1000 a week for 10 weeks. The winner can choose
either the $1000 a week starting the week of June 21st, 2015 until the week of August 23rd, 2015 or the
winner can choose to take one lump sum of $10,000. If the winner is a Rewards Club Member then they
will receive an additional prize of a new BBQ (valued at $500) and $200 Red Shores gift card.
Grand Prize is Valued at: $10,700
($10,000 cash + BBQ ($500) + $200 Red Shores gift card)
5. Grand Prize Draw
The Set for Summer grand prize draw will be on Sunday June 21st, 2015 in Charlottetown. Draw will be
made at 8:00 pm, or as soon as possible thereafter. Customers have until 5:00 p.m. in both locations, on
June 21st to enter their completed and valid passports.
5.1. All Passports from pervious weekly draws will be re-entered for a chance at the $10,000 grand prize
and additional BBQ prize and $200 Red Shores gift card for Rewards Club members
5.6. Total prize value for this promotion is $17,000.
WINNER ELIGIBILITY
Weekly Winners - Potential winners do not need to be present in order to claim the prize. If a potential
winner is not present, attempts will be made by RED SHORES to contact him/her (via telephone at the
phone number listed on the ballot) for up to 5 consecutive business days after the draw date to alert the
potential winner so they can collect the prize won. The winners have 15 days after the final Grand Prize
draw to collect their prize. If, at the end of the above mentioned time period, the winner has not
collected their prize, he/she will no longer be eligible to receive the prize. In that case, the prize will
not be awarded. No substitute prizes will be awarded in the event that prizes are not claimed. In the
event that a finalist cannot attend, a representative will be provided.
In order to be declared a winner, a winner must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question,
sign a standard declaration and release form. This signature will act as confirmation of contest eligibility
and compliance with the contest rules. RED SHORES has no obligation to award any substitute prize
and/or award any prize for any incorrect skill testing question.
The prize is non-transferable. All prizes are awarded as is, and cannot be substituted or exchanged.

GENERAL RULES
1. All entries and/or passports and stamps are the property of RED SHORES. Entries and/or passports
and stamps which have been obtained or made through fraudulent means or which are illegible, altered,
reproduced, mutilated, or irregular, are subject to disqualification. RED SHORES and AL will not be
responsible for entries and/or passports and stamps lost, destroyed, misdirected or delayed for any
reason whatsoever, or for any incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, technical malfunctions,
human or technical error.
2. All decisions of the judges with respect to this promotion are final.
3. No prize substitutions or equivalent cash payments will be made, except for RED SHORES’ right, at its
sole discretion, to make a prize substitution or cash payments of equivalent kind and value. Except as
specifically provided here in, a prize, if unclaimed, will not be awarded.
4. Participation in this promotion authorizes RED SHORES the right to publish the claimant’s name,
address and/or photograph without any claim for broadcasting, printing, Social Media or other rights.
The claimant shall have no claim against RED SHORES for invasion of privacy, infringement of copyright
or otherwise by reason of the publication or broadcasting of the Claimant’s name, address and/or
photograph.
5. RED SHORES reserves the right to verify the full legal name of the claimant with the information on
the selected passport form. To claim the prize, government issued photo identification, acceptable to
RED SHORES, is required.
6. RED SHORES is not responsible for commencing, continuing or completing the “Set for Summer”
promotion or awarding prizes in the event of circumstances beyond RED SHORES’ or AL’s control, and
RED SHORES may, at its sole discretion, change or alter this promotion, as RED SHORES deems
necessary.
7. All references to times and dates reflect Atlantic Standard Time.
8. These Official Rules and Regulations govern the promotion and must be followed and by agreeing to
participate in the promotion, all contestants agree to comply with, and be bound by these Official Rules
and Regulations.
