The Spina Bifida Association of Central Florida invites you to
join us at the Lake Front Park in Kissimmee for our Family
BBQ Social.
This is an event for ALL AGES and gives children, teens and
adults with Spina Bifida, and their friends and families, a
place to have fun, while enjoying a delicious BBQ dinner.
Moms and dads, teens and tweens, and young adults all
have a place to learn, share ideas and meet others facing
many of the same daily challenges.
This is an opportunity to network with other families.
SBACFL events seek to put our members in contact with
each other so they can share everyday advice and lend
each other support.
But most importantly, it is a day to have fun!
This beautiful park in downtown Kissimmee along the
shores of scenic Lake Tohopekaliga offers a three-mile
paved trail for walkers and joggers, basketball court, BBQ
grills, boating, fishing pier, horseshoe pits, picnic areas with
a pavilion, playground and volleyball court.
The park also has a boat launch ramp, and Lighthouse Point
and docks for recreational fishing. The bait shop rents
fishing tackle.
This is a beautiful park and a good place for everyone to
gather and enjoy nature. This park is great for teens and
tweens to hang out and "chill" as well.
