CONVERSION KITS
Conversion Kits
These kits are specifically assembled to provide the new desired functions in addition to the functions currently
resident in the recorder. It is therefore necessary to provide the Model Number, the Serial Number, and the
Electronic Identification Code with the conversion kit order. Note that specific kits are to be ordered depending on
the date manufactured. If manufactured after September 2000, these kits are identified with (b). If manufactured
before September 2000, these kits are identified with (c). Remaining kits are not affected by date manufactured.
See Table 8.

Input Channels Kits
The following kits provide hardware and instructions for adding input channels without the pen drives. Recorders must be
returned to the factory to increase the number of pens.
For 4 to 20 mA inputs, shunt resistor assembly is also required.
B0195ED
To add either Channel No. 2 or Channel No. 4 or both Channels 2 and 3 or
L0125DB
3 and 4 (dual input board.
Optional Functions Kits
The following kits provide hardware and instructions for adding optional functions. The option boards are located to the right
of the input boards. Maximum number of option boards possible is three.
If there is no option board presently in the recorder, an Option Cable must
B0195GY (a)
be installed to interconnect the option boards.
Relay Outputs Kit
To add either relays 3 & 4 or 7 & 8 or 1, 2, 3 or 5,6,7 & 8 (four relay board) L0125CD (b)
L0125CK (c)
4 to 20 mA Outputs Kits
L0125CM (c)
Add output 2 or 4 (dual output board)
L0125CF (b)
To add output 1 and 2 or outputs 3 and 4 (dual output board). Order
L0125CG (b)
L0125CN (c)
quantity of two to add both 1 and 2 and 3 and 4.
Contact Inputs Kit
To add 8 contact inputs (all on one board) Order quantity of two for 16
L0125BX (b)
L0125CP
inputs.
Power Supply Kit
To add 28 volt field transmitter power supply board (does not consume an
L0125DC
option board position)
a. The option card cable (B0195GY), if not already present, MUST be ordered separately. This cable (B0195GY) is to be used only for units
manufactured before September 2000 and is identified by Status Level D3 and lower or (CE) Status Level D3 and lower. Status is shown
as the last character on Serial Number tag.
b. Part Numbered Kits specifically for units manufactured after September 2000; identified by Status Level D4 or higher or (CE) Status Level
D4 and higher. Status is shown as the last characters on the Serial Number Tag. Appropriate mounting hardware and option cable (if
needed) is included with part numbered kits.
c. Part Numbered Kits specifically for units manufactured before September 2000 and identified by Status Level D3 and lower or (CE) Status
Level D3 and lower. Status is shown as the last characters on the Serial Number Tag.
