Official Terms and Conditions
Offer Overview:
Subject to the terms, conditions and restrictions set forth below, BASF Canada Inc. (“BASF”) is awarding eligible
growers who enter the 2015 PeasPlus 2-pass solution Learn and Earn Offer (“Offer”) a ‘Life in Motion’ Large
Cargo Box (the “Reward”), while quantities last.
Offer Details:
1. Eligibility: No purchase necessary. This Offer is sponsored by BASF and open only to Canadian growers who
reside in one (1) of the following BASF Regions (each, a “BASF Region”): (i) Alberta (including the Peace Region
of British Columbia); (ii) Manitoba; or (iii) Saskatchewan; and who: (a) are the owner, operator or designated
representative of a farm (the “Farm”); and (b) have reached the legal age of majority in their province of
residence; (each, an “Eligible Recipient”). Employees and those residing with them (whether related or not) of
BASF, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, prize suppliers, advertising agencies and any entity involved
in the development, production, administration, or fulfillment of the Offer (collectively, the “Offer Parties”) are not
eligible to enter and participate in the Offer.
2. How to Qualify for the Offer: In order to qualify for the Offer, Eligible Recipients must accept and agree to
be legally bound by these Official Terms and Conditions upon filling out the online offer entry form. On entering
the Offer, Eligible Recipients will have the opportunity to agree to the terms as outlined within BASF’s Grower
Privacy Consent (“Appendix A” below) and Commercial Electronic Messages Consent (“Appendix B” below).
Eligible Recipients may subsequently withdraw their consent to receive electronic communications, without
affecting their eligibility in this Offer.
3. How to Participate in the Offer: Eligible Recipients must participate in the Offer at
www.agsolutions.ca/HeatLQ (the “Website”) by following on-screen instructions to complete all of
the following steps during the Offer Period (defined below):
a) Watching the PeasPlus 2-pass solution online Video (the “Video”);
b)Either entering one (1) of the unique PINs received via email or direct mail and when prompted, following
the onscreen instructions to complete and submit the Official Entry Form (the “Form”) including name and
address information as requested on the Form. If an Eligible Recipient does not have a unique PIN, they
may enter the Offer without one by following the onscreen instructions to submit their name and address
information.
c) Agreeing to be legally bound to the Terms and Conditions.
If an Eligible Recipient completed all of the foregoing steps during the Offer Period in accordance with these
Official Terms and Conditions, then the Eligible Recipient will receive one (1) entry per Farm/mailing address
(the “Entry”) towards the Offer.
4. Offer Period: This Offer begins March 9, 2015 at 12:00 AM, Eastern Standard Time and ends April 30, 2015 at
11:59 PM, Eastern Standard Time (the “Offer Period”).
5. Entry Limitation: Limit of one (1) Reward and one (1) Entry per Farm/mailing address permitted during the Offer
Period (defined above). If it is discovered by BASF (using any evidence or other information made available to or
otherwise discovered by BASF) that any person has attempted to: (i) obtain more than one (1) Entry per Farm/
mailing address during the Offer Period; and/or (ii) use multiple names, identities, mailing addresses and/or any
automated, macro, script, robotic or other system(s) or program(s) to enter or otherwise participate in or disrupt
this Offer; then he/she may be disqualified from the Offer in the sole and absolute discretion of BASF. Your Entry
may be rejected if (in the sole and absolute discretion of BASF) the entry process is not fully completed and all
required information is not submitted and received during the Offer Period. The Released Parties (defined below)
are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, delayed, incomplete or incompatible Entries (all of which are void).
6. This Offer is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. The decisions of BASF with respect
to all aspects of this Offer are final and binding on all Eligible Recipients without right of appeal, including, without
limitation, any decisions regarding the eligibility/disqualification of Eligible Recipients and Entries.
7. The Released Parties (defined below) will not be liable for: (i) any failure of the Website during the Offer Period;
(ii) any malfunctions or other problems of any nature whatsoever, including, without limitation, those relating to
the telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment or
software; (iii) the failure of any Entry, Reward or other information to be received, captured or recorded for any
reason whatsoever, including, but not limited to, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any
website; (iv) any injury or damage to a participant’s or any other person’s or entity’s computer or other device
related to or resulting from participating in the Offer; and/or (v) any combination of the above.
8. BASF reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to withdraw, suspend or amend this Offer in any way,
or to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice or obligation, in the event of: (i) any error, problem,
tampering, fraud, failure or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of BASF that interferes with the
proper conduct of this Offer as contemplated by these Terms and Conditions; and/or (ii) any accident, printing,
administrative or other error of any kind. Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of this Offer may
be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, BASF reserves the right to seek
remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. BASF reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility (in a form
acceptable to BASF potentially including, without limitation, government issued photo identification): (i) for the
purposes of verifying eligibility to participate in this Offer; and/or (ii) for any other reason BASF deems necessary,
in its sole and absolute discretion, for the purposes of administering this Offer in accordance with these Terms
and Conditions. Failure to provide such proof to the complete satisfaction of BASF within the timeframe specified
by BASF may result in disqualification. The sole determinant of the time for the purposes of this Offer will be
BASF’s server machine(s).
10. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an Entry, BASF reserves the right, in its sole and absolute
discretion, to deem the Entry to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address
submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the person who is assigned an email
address by an internet provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational
institute, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted
email address. An Eligible Recipient may be required to provide proof (in a form acceptable to BASF – including,
without limitation, government issued photo identification) that he/she is the authorized account holder of the
email address associated with the Entry in question.
11. All intellectual property used by BASF in connection with the promotion and/or administration of the Offer,
including, without limitation, all trade-marks, trade names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages,
source code, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations are owned (or licensed, as the case may be) by
BASF and/or its affiliates. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any such intellectual property
without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
12. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between these Official Terms and Conditions outlined in this
document and disclosures or other statements contained in any Offer-related materials, these Official Terms and
Conditions shall prevail, govern and control to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. BASF reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to adjust any of the dates, timeframes and/or other
Offer mechanics stipulated in these Terms and Conditions, to the extent necessary, for purposes of verifying
compliance by any Eligible Recipient, Farm, Entry and/or other materials with these Terms and Conditions, or as
a result of any technical or other problems, or in light of any other circumstances which, in the opinion of BASF,
in its sole and absolute discretion, affect the proper administration of the Offer as contemplated in these Terms
and Conditions, or for any other reason.
14. BASF reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to take whatever measures or actions it deems
necessary to help ensure that the Offer is administered in accordance with the letter and spirit of these
Rules. ANY INDIVIDUAL OR ENTITY DEEMED BY BASF AT ANY TIME TO BE IN VIOLATION OF
THE LETTER AND SPIRIT OF THESE RULES FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER IS SUBJECT TO
DISQUALIFICATION IN THE SOLE AND ABSOLUTE DISCRETION OF BASF.
15. By participating in this Offer, each Eligible Recipient expressly consents to BASF, its agents and/or
representatives, storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with his/her Entry only for the
purpose of administering the Offer and in accordance with BASF’s Privacy Policy (available at: http://www.
basf.com/group/corporate/ca/en_GB/about-basf/worldwide/north-america/Canada/general/
privacy). This section does not limit any other consent(s) that an individual may provide BASF or others in
relation to the collection, use and/or disclosure of their personal information.
Reward Details:
1. Each Eligible Recipient will receive one (1) Heat LQ herbicide and Viper ADV herbicide branded ‘Life in Motion’
Large Cargo Box (“Cargo Box”) by participating in the Offer. Approximate retail value of each Cooler Bag is
$28.00 CAD. WHILE QUANTITIES LAST.
2. Limit of one (1) Cargo Box per Farm/mailing address. Image of Cargo Box shown in any promotional
elements including web pages and printed advertising is for representation purposes only. Final product
may vary from image.
3. The Reward will only be shipped to a Canadian address. Please allow 8-10 weeks from the close of the
Offer Period for receipt of the Reward.
4. The Reward must be accepted as provided and are not transferable. No cash value will be given or substitution
made. By accepting the Reward, the Eligible Recipients agree to waive all recourse against the Offer Parties
and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assignees
(collectively, the “Released Parties”) if the Reward does not prove satisfactory.
5. Each Reward must be accepted as provided and is not transferable, assignable or convertible to cash (except
as may be specifically permitted by BASF in its sole and absolute discretion). No substitutions except at BASF’s
option. BASF reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to substitute any Reward or a component
thereof with an item or items of equal or greater retail value for any reason.

as to how we collect, use and disclose it. We ask that you familiarize yourself with our Privacy Policy (available

Grower Privacy Notice and Consent Form
Information Collection
By signing below, you consent and authorize BASF, your distributor, retailer, seed seller, and other third parties to
collect and disclose to BASF (directly or through BASF’s third party service providers):
1.Your transactional, booking and order data and other information relating to your purchases and use of BASF
agricultural products (including seed varieties licensed or distributed by or on behalf of BASF or any of its
affiliates); and
2.Your personal information, including personal details (such as current and previous full names, farm name and
date of birth) and contact details (such as your home address, telephone numbers, and e-mail address).
3.Information on agronomic practices and inputs that are related to use of BASF products such as fertilizer
application, water utilization and sprayer, planting and harvesting equipment.
(collectively, the “Personal Information”).
Information Disclosure and Use
By signing below, you consent and authorize BASF to use and disclose the Personal Information (including
disclosure to BASF’s affiliates, your distributor, retailer, seed sellers or BASF’s third party service providers) for the
purposes of:
1. Providing you with customer service and support;
2. Verifying BASF’s marketing program payments to you;
3. Developing and administering BASF’s marketing programs;
4.Developing, promoting and offering additional information, products and services to you including information,
products and services relating to BASF and our trusted third party marketers through electronic messages
and email from BASF. You may later unsubscribe from commercial electronic messages;
5. BASF’s affiliates developing, promoting and offering additional information, products and services to you;
6. Selling, offering, maintaining and operating applications and information services for you and for third parties;
7. BASF’s internal use;
8. Developing and administering market research projects;
9. Developing and administering marketing programs with third parties;
10. Compliance with applicable law.
You also consent to disclosure of your Personal Information by BASF to a third party in the event of a proposed or
actual purchase, sale, lease, merger or amalgamation or any other type of acquisition, disposal or financing of all
or any of our crop protection business.

Commercial Electronic Message Consent
BASF is committed to providing you with timely and relevant information on product innovations, new offers,
and customized information tailored to your farming operation.
By selecting one or both of the “Accept” boxes and signing below, you consent and authorize BASF to send
commercial electronic messages (“CEM”) (including, without limitation, e-mails, text messages (standard fees
or data charges may apply to text messaging – consult your carrier for details), instant messaging, social media
messaging and any other message sent by means of telecommunication) to the electronic mail address and
mobile phone number set forth below. Your consent is sought by Kenna Communications LP (“Service Provider”)
for and on behalf of BASF.
We will send CEM to you for the purposes of: (i) verifying BASF’s marketing program payments to you;
(ii) developing and administering BASF’s marketing programs; and (iii) developing, promoting and offering
additional information, products and services to you.
