ICD-10 is looming on the horizon, and home health agencies must be fully prepared for this monumental
change before its implementation on October 1st. Designed for beginner to advanced coders, these
comprehensive workshops will provide the knowledge needed to build a solid foundation and to enhance
current coding skills, which are crucial to both a coder’s and agency’s success!
Attend these intense 2.5 days of ICD-10 coding training, which will help ensure a smooth transition to this
new code set. Learn how ICD-10 compares to ICD-9, the official coding guidelines and chapter-specific
guidance, as well as documentation requirements…the keys to accuracy, compliance, and proficiency.
There will be hands-on coding of varying complexity, requiring application of basic to advanced concepts.
If you have not already started to prepare for ICD-10, the time is NOW. You cannot afford to procrastinate!
Learn how to code accurately and maintain regulatory compliance in this new and challenging environment.
For those who are ready to advance to the next level, the optional certification exam will be offered on-site.
Workshop Instructor
Sharon Molinari, RN, HCS-D, HCS-O, a home health veteran and consultant, is a coding and OASIS expert and
an approved Board of Medical Specialty Coding and Compliance (BMSC) educator. She is a member of the
BMSC Home Care Advisory Board and author of the Study Guide for HCS-D Certification Examinations. Sharon
is a national presenter of coding and OASIS workshops and is a contributor to various home care publications.
