NUS Biz50 Charity Golf 2015
REQUEST FOR SPONSORSHIP
The NUS Biz50 Charity Golf 2015 will be on 21 July 2015 at the Jurong Country Club. It will be a “shot gun” event
for 144 golfers. This event is jointly organised by the NUS Business School Alumni Association, the NUS Business
School Mandarin Alumni and the MBA Alumni-NUS Association.
This Charity Golf aims to raise $300,000 in donations for the NUS Business School Alumni Association (NUSBSA)
Bursary Fund (unless otherwise specified). Your donations towards the NUSBSA Bursary Fund will be matched 1.5
times by the Singapore Government. For donations towards other bursary funds, NUS will apply for the prevailing
matching grant from the Government. Singapore tax residents will receive a 300 percent tax deduction for cash
donations made in 2015.
The objective of the bursaries is to provide financial assistance to NUS Business School undergraduate students who
are financially challenged. With your help, the bursary allows students to concentrate on what matters most, their
studies. The aim is not only to help these students but also better the lives of their families.
We also accept cash donations from non-golfers and in-kind donations. Non-golfing donors will be invited to the
dinner on 21 July at the Jurong Country Club. A table for 10 at the dinner is available for $2,000 in donation. In-kind
donations are also needed for golfing prizes, lucky draw prizes and for golfers’ goodie bag.
We plan to have Hole-in-One prizes for all 4 par 3s. The top Hole-in-One prizes will be a car (subject to getting a
sponsor) or a cash prize of at least $50,000. There will be other golfing prizes, novelty prizes and lucky draw prizes.
We aim to make this an enjoyable day for everyone
