6th Grade News
► Attention 6th grade parents! School records for your child will be sent to the Junior High School in your home attendance zone. Your home attendance zone is based on the address we have on file at SBJ. If your know now that
your child is attending a school other than OPJH, please notify the SBJ office.
► If your scholar plans on participating in a sport at the junior high, he or she will need a physical. Free physicals for
sports activities will be provided at Orange Park High School on Saturday, April 25th from 8:00a.m.-12:00p.m.
► Orange Park Junior High’s spring orientation for upcoming 7th graders will be held on May 21, 2015 in the OPJH cafeteria from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity to tour the school, meet teachers and get info on classes and
other useful information like sports or clubs.
Spotlight on former (and possibly soon to be) jaguar, Jacob
Hagen
Jacob Hagen (a former SBJ Jaguar and the Son of 6th grade
Teacher, Mrs. Hagen) is predicted to be drafted in The 2015 NFL
DRAFT, most likely by the Jaguars or Dolphins (our inside
sources tell us). Jacob was a successful Captain and free safety
for Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Ms. Jones, sBJ’s current reading coach, stated in a private interview that she always expected Jacob to do great things
when she was his teacher in fourth grade. As a former Jaguar
we should congratulate Jacob on this great accomplishment and wish him the best of luck!
