Notice: 1-Day Golf Course Closure
The Scenic Hills Golf Course will be closed on June 8,
2015 for course aeration. The course will reopen on June
9, 2015. The golf shop and Grille will be open! We
appreciate your understanding while we work to keep our
course healthy and in good playing condition.
Scenic Hills Golf 10-Round Punch Card
Scenic Hills is now selling 10-Round Punch Cards! Buy 10
rounds and get one free! This is the perfect gift for Father’s
Day or for the occasional golfer in your life. Punch Cards
are available for purchase at scenichills.com. For

Golf Tip
May is fitness month. We will discuss a
few exercises that, if done over time, can
significantly improve your longevity and
endurance. The core and glutes are the
engine of the golf swing. A majority of the
power comes from these muscle groups. A
simple squat to jump exercise can build
those muscle groups while providing you
with more explosive power. The second
exercise is an arm stretch and torso rotation
done before your round to help open up your chest,
shoulder and back muscles. This exercise is called the
windmill stretch and can help increase range of motion
while building muscle.
For practice try doing 2 rounds: 3 sets of 10 reps each
exercise: squat jumps followed by windmills.

Memorial Day “Taste on the Turn”
Memorial Day features “Taste on the
Turn!” This golf-focused event
includes a jumbo hot dog or
cheeseburger, coleslaw or potato
salad, chips, and dessert bar for just
$7.99. We’ll have porch seating or to
-go boxes and cold beverages
available. Taste on the Turn will be available May
25th from 11am-4pm. Invite your friends, it’s open to
the public.

2015. Scenic Hills will
provide a beautiful
backdrop for this
fun-filled family event,
which will feature a buffet with Chicken Quarters, Cole
Slaw, Potato Salad and bottled water or soda for only
$9.99 and $6 pitchers. The event will be outdoors, weather
permitting, from 3pm-6pm. Plan to join us for this exciting
event! Reservations are encouraged.
Upcoming Events
Kona Brewing Company Beer Dinner
Scenic Hills is pleased to announce we are partnering
with Kona Brewing Company to bring you a Hawaiian
Beer Pairing Dinner on Friday, June 26. The dinner will
pair a different Kona Brewing Company ale or lager with
each of four courses. Doors will open at 6:30pm with the
first course served at 7pm. More details coming soon!
Father’s Day
Plan to spend your Father’s Day at the club! Finish
up your round of golf and join us as we present our
“ Taste on the Turn.” The patio will feature a buffet
for only $9.99 per person from 11am-4pm on
Sunday, June 21.
Family Movie Nights
Summertime is right around the corner and we’re
bringing back Family Movie Nights beginning June
1! Bring the kids every Monday night and let us do
the entertaining. Cost will be $8 per person and
includes the movie, dinner, popcorn and a beverage.
Movies will begin promptly at 6:30pm. Call ahead,
space is limited.
Tuesday Evenings Big Hole Golf League
Beginning Tuesday, June 16, Scenic Hills will have a “Big
Hole Golf League” open to the public. 5:30pm shotgun
start. Play will be 9 holes with a 2-Player scramble format.
Cost per team will be $25. We will have fun on-course
events and prizes. For additional information call Scenic
