2015 Prom Dress Code
Guidelines
Prom Date: Saturday, May 2
Location: PSL Civic Center
Time: 8:00 pm - Midnight
Please avoid any misunderstandings by following these guidelines for appropriate formal attire.
You may direct any questions or concerns to an administrator or Dean on campus.
! Prom dress code complies with the school dress code with a few exceptions due to the formal nature of
this event.
! Students and guests who are not in compliance with the dress code will not be permitted to enter the
dance.
! All tickets sales are final. Therefore refunds will not be provided to a student or their guest for noncompliance.
Female Formal Attire:
All female students and female guests are required to wear formal floor length dresses.
• Backless dresses are acceptable as long as it does not dip below the small of the back.
• Strapless dresses are acceptable as long as they are worn with the appropriate undergarments.
• Slits (side, front, and back) may be no higher than halfway between the knee and the upper
thigh.)
• No cut outs on the front or sides of the dress.
• No high-low dresses (must be floor length all the way around).
• No see through dresses including skirts (all sheer fabric must have solid fabric underneath)
• No spandex style dresses.
• No low cut cleavage tops.
• No bustier style tops.
If you have any questions about your outfit being dress code compliant, please bring a photograph (with
you in the dress) to an administrator for review and approval.
Male Formal Attire:
All male students and male guests must wear a tuxedo or suit. Suit must be worn with a jacket, tie and dress
shoes.

Dress pants with shirt tucked in at all times for the entire evening
Dress shirt with tie or banded collar
Ties are to be appropriately worn with all collared dress shirt
Tuxedo’s, Suits, Sport Coats with a tie, are appropriate
Dress Shoes
No hats of any kind
No Canes
No sunglasses
No Sandals, sneakers or other casual footwear
No T-shirts or non-dress shirts
Signature attests to student having fully read and understood the guidelines outlined above. Furthermore, student
fully acknowledges that violation of the dress code will result in denied entry without refund.
