2015 Scottish Congress Dinner

The 2015 Scottish Congress Dinner will be held on Friday 17th April in the Gannochy Suite at the Dewar's
Centre, Glover Street, Perth. The dinner will commence at 7.00pm and should be finished by 9.00pm. This will
be followed by the presentation of prizes for the National Exhibition and the Awards made by the Association.
The president and the guest of honour will give short addresses after dinner. The whole evening should be
finished by 10.00pm; giving time for those attending to either go home or retire to a suitable place. Smart casual
dress is acceptable. Presidents of societies may wish to wear their chain of office.
As usual a talk on the Tom Rielly Display will be given at 6pm. This will be followed by a civic reception
generously provided by Perth & Kinross Council before the dinner.
The cost of the dinner is £26.00 per person. The menu is as follows:
Roasted red pepper and tomato soup with chopped basil
Game terrine with caramelized red onion chutney

Honey Roast Gammon with apple and mustard sauce
Chicken Balmoral with a whisky sauce
Asparagus and Pea risotto topped with parmesan and rocket
All with chef’s selection of Fresh Vegetables and Potatoes

Selection of Scottish cheeses with oatcakes
Chocolate Cheesecake with raspberry coulis

Tea, Coffee and Mints
Your choice can be made on the evening.
Water will be available free of charge on each table. Wine, beer, spirits and soft drinks will be available from
the cash bar. Payment for the meal is required in advance. Please complete the box on this form and return with
a cheque/PO for £26.00 per person, made payable to 'ASPS', to the Association Secretary, Alan Watson.
Congress Saturday – High Tea
Once again a high tea has been arranged for approximately 5.30pm on Saturday 18th April, after Congress is
over and has been dismantled. This is payable on the night. In order to give some idea of numbers please
indicate the numbers likely to attend on the form below.
