Nomination Information - Council of Supply Chain Management
2015 Donald J. Bowersox Doctoral Symposium Dear Distinguished Colleague: Each year the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) holds a Doctoral Symposium in conjunction with its Annual Conference. The Symposium is specifically designed for doctoral candidates specializing in supply chain management and related fields of study who intend to pursue a career in academia. From the reviews of both participants and faculty, those students currently in their latter stages of doctoral studies will find this event most beneficial. The Twenty-Fifth Annual Donald J. Bowersox Doctoral Symposium is scheduled to take place on Monday, September 28, but begins with attendance at the “Meet the Academics” reception on Saturday, September 26, and includes the Educators' Conference on Sunday, September 27, in San Diego, California, USA. The Symposium will again be a highly rigorous, interactive and informative event, and offers innovative sessions that meet CSCMP's expansive scope and mission. Accordingly, the program will feature topics and speakers relevant to students in a broad array of supply chainrelated disciplines that include logistics, operations management, supply management, and marketing. In addition, it is also our pleasure to invite Symposium student participants to join the CSCMP Annual Conference 2015 and related activities on September 29 and 30. As a registered conference faculty attendee, you are welcome to sit in the Symposium. The purpose of this letter is to ask you to nominate those candidates who will receive the most benefit from participating in the Symposium.
