Event Supplementary Regulations
These Event Supplementary Regulations are to be read together with the 2015 SA Rally
Sprint Series Regulations
Held under the International Sporting Code of the FIA and the National Competition Rules of
CAMS, the National Rally Code, the current South Australian Conditions of Rallying, these Series
Regulations, Event Supplementary Regulations and any Bulletins that may be issued.

Article 3. EVENT DETAILS
3.1
The South Australian Sprint Rally Series (hereafter referred to as the Series) will be
held under the International Sporting Code of the FIA, the National Competition Rules
of CAMS, the National Rally Code, CAMS Stage 1 Rally Sprint Standing Regulations,
the current South Australian Conditions of Rallying, these Standing Regulations, the
Event Supplementary Regulations and any other Further Regulations or Bulletins. This
Event will be conducted under and in accordance with CAMS OH&S and Risk
Management Policies, which can be found on the CAMS website at www.cams.com.au.
Certain public, property, professional indemnity and personal accident insurance is
provided by CAMS in relation to the event. Further details can be found in the CAMS
Insurance Handbook, available at www.cams.com.au.

Where there is any divergence between the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport,
these Series Regulations and the Event Supplementary Regulations, the Event
Supplementary Regulations will take precedence.
The CAMS Permit Number authorising the event is 515/3105/02, which will be
displayed on the official notice board at the event.
The length of the rally will be approximately 58.28kms, including 8 stages which have a
total competitive distance of approximately 58.28kms. All special stages are of a
gravel/dirt surface, held in the Mid Murray Council on (closed) public & private roads.
The event type is a Multiclub Stage 1 Rally Sprint.

Article 4. VEHICLE ELIGIBILITY

Crew Crews shall comprise of two persons both being the holders of a minimum CAMS
Level 2S licence, CAMS Level 2SE single event licence (Available from secretary on
the day) or equivalent. The minimum age for drivers and co-drivers in Rally-Sprints is
14 years. Please note that Junior Drivers will need an experienced Co-Driver and proof
of experience will need approval by the Clerk of course.
All apparel shall be in accordance with Schedule D, Article 2.2 (Multi-Club Gravel Rally)
of the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport.
Article 6. ENTRIES AND ENTRY FEE

Article 7. SERVICING AND REFUELLING

Servicing is only allowed in the service area as indicated on the day. The maximum
distance between refuelling will be approximately 10.00km competitive.
Re-fuelling will be available at the following location:-

No fuel will be available at the event.

Article 10. AWARDS
10.1 Each event will provide awards as per below:
1st, 2nd and 3rd outright
Trophies will be awarded to 1st in each class in the Event as long as there are 3 or more
entries in the class.
The Organiser reserves the right to amalgamate classes (if less than 3 entrants in class) or
add to the awards up to the start of the event.
Article 11. ALCOHOL, DRUGS AND OTHER SUBSTANCES
Any holder of a CAMS ‘Competition’ or ‘Officials’ licence (or equivalent licence issued by
another ASN) may be tested for the presence of drugs (or other banned substances) and
subject to a penalty(ies) for a breach in accordance with the CAMS Anti-Doping Policy
and/or the CAMS Illicit Drugs in Sport (Safety Testing) Policy as published on the CAMS
website. Consumption of alcohol in the paddock, pits or any section of the competition
venue/course under the control of the Officials is forbidden until all competition is concluded
each day. Accordingly, any holder of a CAMS ‘Competition’ or ‘Officials’ licence (or
equivalent licence issued by another ASN) may also be tested for the presence of alcohol
by a CAMS Accredited Testing Official (CATO) in accordance with the CAMS Standard
Operating Procedure for Breath Alcohol Testing.

the particulars on this form are true and correct in every particular, to the best of my/our knowledge and
belief.
I/We declare that I/we have read and understood the Supplementary Regulations issued for the event, and
agree to be bound by them and the provisions of the National Competition Rules of the Confederation of
Australian Motor Sport Limited (“CAMS”).
In exchange for being able to attend or participate in the event (including entering the event), I agree:
 to release CAMS and Australian Motor Sport Commission Ltd, promoters, sponsor organisations,
land owners and lessees, organisers of the event, their respective servants, officials,
representatives and agents (collectively, the "Associated Entities") from all liability for my death,
personal injury (including burns), psychological trauma, loss or damage (including property
damage) ("harm") howsoever arising from my participation in or attendance at the event, except to
the extent prohibited by law;
 that CAMS and the Associated Entities do not make any warranty, implied or express, that the
event services will be provided with due care and skill or that any materials provided in connection
with the services will be fit for the purpose for which they are supplied; and
 to attend or participate in the event at my own risk.

the risks associated with attending or participating in the event include the risk that I may suffer harm as a
result of:
o motor vehicles (or parts of them) colliding with other motor vehicles, persons or property;
o acts of violence and other harmful acts (whether intentional or inadvertent) committed by persons
attending or participating in the event; and
o the failure or unsuitability of facilities (including grand-stands, fences and guard rails) to ensure the
safety of persons or property at the event.

accident investigation, accident prevention and safety activities, news services including broadcast services,
or for the purposes of processing insurance claims.

I/We being a member of/the service crew certify that the particulars on this form are true and

In exchange for being able to attend or participate in the event, I/we agree:

To release Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Ltd ("CAMS") and Australian Motor
Sport Commission Ltd, promoters, sponsor organisations, land owners and lessees,
