April 18 Sale Report - We hosted one of the hottest
horse sales in the country! The Top 20 Saddle horses
averaged $4,800. Horses went to a 10-state area of

LOT 40, Cats Strait Reyjay, a beautiful black tobiano 4Year old gelding with a world class pedigree not only
topped the sale but won the Trophy saddle awarded
to the the top Gelding in the 14th Annual Super Bowl
Gelding Session. He went home to his new owner,
Gerald Moore, Jennings, Louisiana for $7.000!.

mare had pedigree bred in the purple for working

as well. Market was steady with last months much
stronger market.
The top 20 loose horses averaged $1,250 with the top
loose horse selling for $2,050.

Many of the bigger weigh up horses. $1,000 lb and
over sold $425to $600 Yearling Feeders sold $100 &
older thin horses $385.
Stallions are unable to be shipped to plants per rules
and regulations & USDA transportation rule require
separate compartments in stallion travel., so stallions
sell $75 to $150 - You need to geld the stallions
before bringing in to sale to bring more dollars
ROPE CATTLE - 55 head on hand. The No.1 rope cattle
topped out at $875. Smaller rope cattle, not ready to
rope, sold $725 - $800.
We have big demand for good broke kid horses, Ranch
horses and Show and performance horses. Corsica is
the place to sell your horses. Most all of our Sellers
went home with more money for their horses than
they expected AND most Buyers went home spending
more for horses than they wanted or went home with
empty trailer saying horses were too expense.
