SAN VICENTE DAM TOUR

Park and meet at the guard gate by 2:45 PM, SDCWA will begin tour at 3PM via vans. Bring a
hard hat and vest if you have them, others will be provided. Wear work boots and not sandals or
open toe shoes. It will be a 1-2 hour plus experience, with guides to answer all questions. There
will be project data displays at the site. Your driver’s license will be required with your
reservation for security purposes. Tour is limited to 20 people, first come, first served!
Via Interstate 8
 Take Interstate 8 to Highway 67 North.
 Stay on Highway 67 for 5.9 miles.
 Turn right on Vigilante Road (no traffic light at this intersection).
 Stay on Vigilante for 0.7 miles.
 Make a sharp left turn onto Moreno Avenue.
 Continue on Moreno for .5 mile to gate and guard station.
 Stop at guard station.
We will have dinner at Filippi’s following the tour: 10767 Woodside Ave, Santee, CA 92071
It’s just off the HWY 67 as you drive back to SD, but we will caravan from the site.
Menu will be a variety of pizzas, antipasto salad, and your choice of beverage…Price is $20, cash
or check made out to SAVE International, payable at the site.

Stay on Highway 67 for 5.9 miles.








Take I-15 to State Route 52 East; head east 10 miles.
Take Highway 67 North for 7 miles.
Turn right at Vigilante Road (no traffic light at this intersection).
Stay on Vigilante for 0.7 miles.
Make a sharp left turn onto Moreno Avenue.
Continue on Moreno for .5 mile to gate and guard station.
Stop at guard station.
Via Interstate 15 to Scripps Poway Parkway







Take I-15 to Scripps Poway Parkway; head east about 9 miles.
Turn right on Highway 67 South for about 4.5 miles.
Turn left at Vigilante Road (no traffic light at this intersection).
Stay on Vigilante for 0.7 miles.
Make a sharp left turn onto Moreno Avenue.
Continue on Moreno for .5 mile to gate and guard station.
Stop at guard station.
