Dear Al-Anon Members and Groups,
We need your support. The Spring Auction, a major fundraiser for AIS, is on Saturday, May
30, 2015. The continued operation and outreach activities of AIS depend on our ability to fund
them. In keeping with Tradition 7, Al-Anon is self-supporting through our own voluntary
contributions declining outside contributions. Please donate, volunteer and join us!

Donation Ideas for Live, Silent & Dessert Auctions
Theme
Baskets
Examples: Baby baskets, Kitchenware/Cooking/Edibles, Pets, Bath
& Beauty, Socks, Tools, Hobby (knitting/ quilting/gardening/sporting,
scrapbooking, etc).
Typically baskets should sell for $50-$100, although some may bring more. Please
include an information card listing the contents of the basket so our auctioneers give
you proper credit.

Auction Details:
We will be selling $5 raffle tickets. Just before the Live Auction starts, we will pick one ticket and that
person gets to pick any Live Auction item. We can handle up to 90 Live Auction items; to be fair it is
done on a first come first served basis. Please bring your auction donations early (4-5pm), as it gets really busy and you will want to have a chance to look over the other auction items. Any items arriving later
will be put in the silent auction.
