1.1 APOLOGIES
1.2 PREVIOUS MINUTES – no minutes to be seconded
2. Welcome to AGM
2.1 Welcome (GG)
Welcome to all those in attendance.
Introduced Clive and Elaine Higgins.
2.2 Life Member Clive Higgins (LG)
Introduced himself and wife to those in attendance.
Outlined a history of the club and shared stories about past successes as at a club level and at a
state level. Presented the ethos of the club and what was the expectations 10 years ago when the
club was established and how they saw its future.
2.3 Treasurers Report (LG)
As per report presented Lisa Goodwin. Treasurers report seconded by Mel Roeszler.
Canteen – Fiona still to bank approximately $3000 from the last few weeks of the canteen.
This money will be added to the new treasurers report for 2015/2016.
Currently in the process of transferring accounts and money across from Commonwealth to
Bendigo Bank.
Port Kennedy Tavern – sponsors in the form of reduced room hire for meetings rather than
cash input. Normally the room is $250, we hire it for $50.
Commonwealth Bank – to be closed down by new Treasurer. Bendigo Bank to be sole bank in
the upcoming season. New Registrations to go into the Bendigo Bank.
2.4 – Head Coach (SC)
Sharon is leaving the committee.
Gave a run down of the position
Is willing to assist new Head Coach in the new season with any questions that they have.
Outlined that off season work before the season begins is when the most work is done.
Organises school clinics. Out of season. Big commitment with work etc.
Have A Go day replaced the school clinics in the 2014/2015 season. This was found to be
highly successful.
Registration day is advertised in school newsletters, Secret Harbour Whisper and Facebook.
Co-ordinates – coaches, teams, kits bags, coaching clinics, ensures that coaches are ok for
the season.
Is compiling things into a box to handover to new Head Coach. This will be ready by the first
committee meeting.
2.5 Registratar (MR)
100% fees paid for the 2014/2015 season
Early Bird Registrations – 115 children registered to date for next season.
Assists with Team Selections.
Organises late registrations, and chasing fee payments
Organises state team registrations to ensure all players can play on March long weekend.
2.6 Secretary (JV)
Outlined the duties that the secretary does through season.
2.7 Vice President & Sponsorship (MB)
Served in a trainee position at the club this year and was able to learn the roles at the club
from a working position. Was a big learning curve and now has many plans to move forward.
2.8 President (GG)
Read a farewell to the club from the presidency. Thanked other committee members and
parents, and made a big thank you to his family for their support and encouragement through
the years he served as president.
Gave a whole club rundown.
Reiterated that new club assess to Facebook, the website and the team app were all
important to ensuring that the club was successful in the future.
Congratulated Chrissy and Tahlee on their efforts with Aussie Teeball. Spoke of the success
of the program and wished it well in the future as it was the future success of the club in
those teams.
Umpiring (GG)
Thanked all umpires for their hard work and continued success as team umpires at a club
and state level.
States (GG)
Great year @ states.
Much success for all teams. Our Secret Harbour Carnival was an astounding success. Many
clubs attended and it is a highly held carnival in Perth now.
SuperSquad (GG)
Encourages that the club use this platform to promote the club in the future.
2013/20014 – 2 players
2014/2015 – 1 player (had much pride watching his own son play)

Read out all sponsors and thanked them for their support this past season and hopes that
they continue to support the club in the future.
