Carole Hamilton, founder and coordinator of the Texas Women’s Empowerment
Conference (TWEC), believes every woman has a story to tell. For the past several
years, Carole has mentored, taught and counseled females of all ages. Now, she is
preparing for the 7th annual Texas Women’s Empowerment Conference, one of the
area’s largest conferences ever to be hosted by the women of the Churches of Christ.
The conference motto, See It! Say It! Seize It! derived from a book Carole read by
John C. Maxwell, which focused on stretching ones potential. She envisioned an
event where women could share their stories, a forum that welcomed women of diverse
backgrounds and ethnic groups, and a venue to promote healing from the many things
women suffer with from the inside out.
August 14 - 16, 2015
The 7th annual conference will be held August 14-16, 2015. Located in the heart of Legacy Town Center, this
area has a blend of upscale dining, retail and residential establishments within a community setting. In addition,
this unique destination hosts the Angelika Film Center & Café, the nation’s only suburb specialty cinema.
The theme for 2015 is “God’s Life Class.” This event is not only for women, but there will also be age-appropriate
classes for girls 8 to 17 years old. Attendees will not only be educated, pampered, empowered, and encouraged,
but some attendees may be hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ for the first time, as there will be an evangelism
team on hand for the entire conference. Women of different ages, experiences, and ethnicities will be joining
forces for a Christian event, which will inspire us all to become better women, mothers, daughters, wives, and
sisters. The Texas Women’s Empowerment Conference is dedicated to empowering women in all walks of life
through God’s word. “I would like to tell any woman, young or old, to invest in you for one weekend,” Carole
said. “Come expecting, and you will walk away empowered.”
Can men attend the conference (husbands, significant others etc.)?
The Texas Women’s Empowerment Conference is for females only. NOTE: Men can attend the worship service
with their spouse or significant other on SUNDAY ONLY
How can I register for the Texas Women’s Empowerment Conference?
Registration can be completed online or by mail. Online registration will be available through August 1, 2015, and
registration by mail must be postmarked on or before August 1, 2015.
Where is the host hotel?
The host hotel is the Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center, 7120 Dallas Parkway, Plano, TX 75024. For more

How much does it cost to stay at the host hotel, and how do I make a reservation?
You may register online via our website or call the hotel directly at (972) 473-4220. Be sure to request TWEC’s
special rate when booking. The cost per night is $142 (with a four (4) adult maximum occupancy per room or a six
(6) adult & children maximum occupancy per room). Rooms are on a first-come, first-serve basis and are subject
to availability.
Does the registration fee include meals?
The registration fee includes a reception meal, breakfast (Sat/Sun), and banquet meal. All remaining meals are at
your own expense.

What is the dress code for the conference?
