About UK Soccer Camps
UKS is one of the most innovative and progressive
soccer camp companies in the United States.
Established in 1999, we have delivered soccer
educational programs in over a dozen US States, as
well as several programs overseas. Every type of
soccer coaching need is catered for in our program,
from team and individual training to recreational and
team camps.
UKSoccer Camps
Based in Clarksville on the Tennessee and Kentucky
border, we recruit our seasonal summer camp staff
from the United Kingdom. All are fully licensed
professional coaches and players. They are the
cornerstone of our continued camp success.

Returning to Elkin
Whilst ‘Select’ Club and High School teams and
individual players are our year round focus, it is the
SUMMER Camp Season that provides us with
perhaps the most fun and satisfaction. It is our
chance to give something back to the game at the
grass roots level, and was the reason behind our
inception back in 1999.
After directing camps for Britannia Soccer USA, it
became clear that I could take this already winning
formula and make it even better. By handpicking my
staff personally, selecting them for the ability to not
only teach and coach soccer, but bring a personality
and stamp it upon the camp, we make sure each
camp is as successful as it is well received and ran.
Campers get a chance to not only develop their game
in a fun setting and environment, but the chance to
interact and learn from coaches from a different
soccer culture. The coaches inject a personal and
refreshing slant on every community they work with.
We are NOT a ‘cookie cutter British camp company’
from the 1990’s. We are soccer professionals that
deliver the very best experience for your kids and
community.

Founder of UKSoccer, Tony will be spending as much time
on the field as ever, directing camps all across the country
for the 15th summer in a row. Tony is a former professional
player and youth coach at the world famous Arsenal
Football Club.

Coming back for his fourth summer with UKS, Rich comes
to us from Hull in England, and is currently a full time
student and player at Manchester University.
We cover a wide range of passing skills, utilizing drills and
fun games that reinforce good technique.

Jandro
Wednesday - Shooting and Finishing
Jandro hails from Nicaragua, and played his youth and
formative soccer in Germany. A fully licensed coach he
currently works at Austin Peay State University in TN. This
is his fifth summer with us.
Dammy
Dammy is one of our most experienced and respected
coaches, despite his relative youth. He is currently a
professional player in England with Luton Towns Academy
Program. This will be his fourth summer with UKS.

The best day of the week. Whole day is focused on scoring
GOALS - GOALS – GOALS.
Thursday – Heading and Defending
Basic principles covered, once again using fun games and
practices to ensure optimal learning
Friday – Recap and Presentation Games
Camp finishes with presentation of the weeks MVP

Yousef
Big Yousef is our goalkeeping specialist trainer, originally
from Iran. He is a postgraduate pharmacy student in
Memphis, TN, and entering his fifth summer with UKS.

As parent/guardian of the above named child, I do hereby verify that this child has been
cleared for participation in soccer by a physician. I hereby give permission for this
child to receive any first aid or medical care that may become necessary. Further, I
understand that playing soccer has a risk of injury. I hereby release and hold harmless,
Tony Sonnabend Soccer Schools and Elkin P and R from any liability of damages that
may occur during the Camp. By executing this document, I hereby assume, on the
behalf of my child, all risk of injury to which the child may be exposed. In case of an
emergency, this form and signature will serve as authorization for the local hospital to
administer medical treatment.

Mike was born and raised in Germany, playing youth and
ODP soccer over there. A standout player at HS over in the
States, he recently graduated as a PE teacher from APSU.
He coaches HS soccer in the region and is entering his third
summer with UKS.
