Welcome to Downtown Pittsburgh!
At two miles in diameter, Downtown is jam-packed
with fun things to do – whether you enjoy shopping,
great dining, family fun or arts and entertainment.
Getting around town is easy, too. Walking is the best
way to experience it all and you can get just about
anywhere in 15 minutes. If you’d like to ride your way
through town, there are plenty of options. The Golden
Triangle is a Port Authority “free zone” so you can hop
on the bus or “T” to get to your favorite Downtown
spots. Bikes and rollerblades are available for rent, or
you can even rent a car by the hour.

Convenient & Unique Retail
Now that you’re here, it’s time to shop, shop and shop some
more. Head over to the Fifth and Smithfield area to find
department stores like Macy’s and Saks Fifth Avenue. Downtown
also has retail centers that offer a little bit of everything,
from coffee shops to specialty boutiques. You can easily find
something for everyone on your list, including yourself!
