La Quinta Mexican Café y Bar prides itself on creating fresh Cuisine. Everything is made
from fresh produce and all meals are cooked fresh for our patrons. That is why we can
create meals specifically to your tastes. We also offer an extensive selection of gluten
free meals.
We use a variety of traditional Mexican chillies to create our flavours including Jalapenos,
Chipotles, Serrano and Poblano chillies. Each of these are described below.
All our meals are cooked mild unless indicated by our chilli meter.
If you would like your meal prepared with A little bite or Hot, just tell your waiter, and we
will prepare your meal with extra chilli. If you would like your meal prepared Extremely
Hot we will use Habanero chilli, the hottest chilli of them all. Just let us know with your
order. But be careful. Habanero chillies can be dangerous for those that have not had
them before!
Buen provecho!
Ancho/Poblano chillies display a wonderful fruity aroma
similar to figs. Mild & full of flavour. Heat rating 3/10
Jalapenos have a unique grassy flavour & are very widely used
in Mexican food. Heat rating 5/10
