NINA Griegfestival ble etablert i 2010, og for andre gang inviterer vi unge sangtalent og kor til Bergen for å delta i konkurranser, konserter og workshops under

NINA Solo Competition
Sangkonkurranse for unge sangere
mellom 15 (født i 1997) and 24 år (født 1986).

Syng to ulike stykker med god kontrast fra den klassiske
vokaltradisjon.

Juryen velger ut 3-6 sangere fra 1. runde
for å konkurrere om 1., 2., og 3. pris.

Premier

Pianist
Pianist er tilgjengelig, men sangerne kan gjerne ta med sin egen
akkompagnatør. Det tilbys 20 minutters øvelse med pianist.
Jury
Sangerne bedømmes av en internasjonalt sammensatt jury. Juryen kan
dele ut i 1., 2., og 3. pris.
Juryen benytter en skala på 10-25 poeng, og hver dommer gir en poengsum
til hver sanger. Poengresultatet for hver deltaker vil være gjennomsnittet
av juryens gitte poengsummer.

NINA Griegfestival was established in 2010, and for the second time we invite young
talented soloists and choirs to Bergen, Norway for competitions, concerts and events
in the 2nd NINA Griegfestival. Visit www.griegfestival.no for further details and application.
NINA Choir Competition
Children’s- and Youth choir
Categories
A. Children’s choirs (up to 14 years)
B. Equal voices - up to 24 years (born in 1988)
C. Youth choir - up to 24 years (born in 1988)
In the category A piano accompaniment is allowed.
In the categories B and B the repertoire must be a cappella.
The length of the program must be max. 15 minutes pure singing time.
In all the categories the program must include:
 A work from the choirs country or area
 A work of a Nordic composer
 Works of free choice
Jury
The choirs will be assessed by an international jury. The jury has the right to award the 1st,
2nd and 3rd Prizes in each category. Adjudicator will give one point of the used the scale 1025 points for each choir in each category. The final point will be the average of the given
point from the jury. In case a choir exceeds the time limit for more than 30 seconds, each
extra minute will equal to 1 minus point in the total score.
Prizes in each of the categories:
 1st Prize € 700 (more than 21 points)
 2nd Prize € 400 (more than 19 points)
 3rd Prize € 200 (more than 17 points)
NINA Grand Prix
The contestants will be chosen by the jury from the participating choirs. The performance
time is limited to 12 minutes. The contestants will do a program of their own choice. The
winner of the NINA Grand Prix is the choir with the highest point which will be the average of
the given point from the jury. The decision of the jury is final and will not be submitted to
further discussion.

WORKSHOPS - CONCERTS - EVENTS
Worksops, concerts and events will be scheduled with participating choirs in the
centre of Bergen and the surrounding area. Details will be announced in March 2012.
