e are pleased to announce that following on
from this year’s successful Festival, we are now
able to confirm that 2014 will again see the
event being held at the Heritage Motor Centre,
Warwickshire. We are also delighted to tell you that the
Festival will now be a full two-day event, in order to take
full advantage of the tremendous variety of activities,
exhibits and stalls on offer. Those all-important dates are
Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May 2014.

The UK Slot Car Festival aims to bring every aspect of the
slot car world to all enthusiasts and in all the scales,
whether they are collectors, racers, scratch builders or track
builders, or a combination of everything! There will be
something for everyone, beginner and ‘old hand’ alike.
The success of the previous events has meant that we have
attracted the support of all the major manufacturers,
including Scalextric, Carrera, SCX, Slot.it, NSR, Slotfire and
many more. The more ‘specialist’ manufacturers from the
UK and abroad are
now using the

particular talents,
from body shells,
controllers and
chassis to complete
cars and scenery
items, and they will
be there for all to
see.

Of course, should this barrage of
brilliance from the miniature world of slot
cars prove a little too much, you could
always take a little time to enjoy the fullsize exhibits in the Heritage Museum. This
has the world’s largest collection of
British cars, having nearly 300 vehicles.
Finally, for refreshments, the Museum’s
excellent café provides a great place for a
few moments’ respite during your day.
