GUIDE TO INTUITIVE LIVING:
10 DAILY PRACTICES TO BUILD
YOUR INTUITIVE CONNECTION
It is my deep and humble honor to serve you and to help you
navigate to your truth through the language of your intuition. My
loving intention is that each of you receive something to work with in
this offering, that helps you channel your spiritual truth, get
connected to the Divine (whatever name you give it) and live from a
guided place. All of these tips and tools are simply suggestions and
ideas, please take only what resonates and leave the rest. Integrate
these different practices into your daily life to enhance your intuition,
to develop your connection and to shine your spiritual radiance.
Blessings on your path to Intuitive Wellness.
Love and Light,
1. Psychic Code
The truth is we are all psychic, and how we receive and interpret this information (in my opinion) needs to
stay in integrity. There truly is no psychic code, except the one you create for yourself. As you begin to
play with your intuition, and you discover how you specifically receive your intuitive information, it can be
incredibly powerful and is not to be underestimated. Our psychic energy protects us each day, and it
communicates, and it can reveal our innermost truth. Because it can be easier at times to pick up psychic
information for others, it is also important to know how to use this inborn capacity in a way that serves the
highest good for yourself and all of humanity.
I once knew a man who kept telling me he was psychic, “I’m really, really psychic,” he would say, over
and over. Finally I asked him, “That’s fantastic that you’re in touch with your psychic capacity, and I really
believe we are all psychic. How do you help the world with this gift?” He looked at me a little
dumbfounded...this is not where I want us to be stuck, please do the psychic and intuitive discovery
around how you are meant to serve with your intuition, before you start reading people simply for
fascination or to impress them for your ego. Being psychic is powerful, and it is not to be used to control,
dominate, or manipulate others, or to impress anyone, it is there to help us align with the Divine. It is
available as a language. Our intuition is here as an opportunity to feel connected rather than separate
from our Source. Psychic interference can be dangerous.
It is important to ensure that we aren’t just walking around in the world psychically reading everyone
without their permission; this is an interference of their privacy and sacred truth. It can also lead to our own
exhaustion, overwhelm, empathic blowout and energetic weight gain. If people start to come to you for
your psychic readings, and you are not helping them find their own light within, their own innate abilities,
their own connection to the Divine, you are then potentially interfering with the Divine.
So check in with your heart. Here is a simple code I created when working in the psychic realm.
Ask yourself intuitively:
•
•
•
•
•
Is this person coming to me asking for this information?
Am I called to deliver it to them, or is it just for my own knowing?
Do they need to hear this now, and from me?
Am I interfering with the Divine, or being a conduit of it?
Is this information coming through purely, or is it laced with my own judgment or fear?
You should have a feeling of what to do with the information. If it is just for you, it is just for you. Please do
not share the information with the person, or with others.
Enjoy this inborn capacity, and make sure you’re using it for good. Keep it sacred, and use it first for your
own intuitive connection with the Divine, this will help you sense when you are called to use it to spiritually
serve the world.
If you do not yet know how you receive your psychic information, please do some research, or schedule
an Intuitive Wellness session, as this will help you know which gifts you were born with, and which
capacities you are working on tuning into.

2. Create Your Affirmation
While affirmations can sometimes be considered bandaids covering a
much deeper issue, they can also be tremendous tools. If we use them
like a mantra, the energy they carry can trickle into our individual
expression and offer assistance and sometimes even healing, especially
when addressing and expressing our true Light. To build an affirmation for
your intuitive capacity to be enhanced, you can try this one or create
your own.
Intuition affirmation:
I am a powerful, intuitive, loving child of the Divine here to shine my light
in loving service for humanity. I choose to show up fully, responding to the
guidance I receive from my Creator, as a vessel. I understand that I will be
guided on when to take action, and I commit to receiving that guidance
and acting on it accordingly…or simply:
I am the Light.
I carry and bring Light to the world.
Affirmations can be gentle reminders of our deeper truth when we feel
our ego’s fears creeping in. To create your own, write what is true for you.
Write what it is that your soul is yearning deeply for, write these desires as if
they are already so. Bringing our ideas for the future into the now can
accelerate the process of embodiment.
You can also start with a particular fear, and write the Light for it as your
script with the Divine.
Here is an example:
Fear: I am ugly and unworthy.
True Light Affirmation: I am a Divine child of God. I am a spiritual vessel of
Divine expression. I am a part of the fabric of the Universe and I am
eternally connected to the power that moves the planets and beats my
heart. I am made of the stars and am perfectly everything I need to be
right now. I am worthy of fulfillment, wholeness, and connection. I am
sacred and beloved.
Print your affirmations, write them in your handwriting, or paint them, you
could even make graphical representations of them, and tape them up
where you can see them. Carry your affirmations in your wallet, put them
on your altar. Memorize them and say them with your prayers. Hold them
until they become integrated.

3. Meditate in the Morning
Meditate with your altar, meditate in a sacred space, a sanctuary you have created or the one
already created for you by God: go into nature. Clear your mind and set your day up with meditation
in the morning. Start this way, and it can offer so many benefits.
Meditation in the morning can give you the subtle adjustment in focus, the boost in clarity, the
attunement for your intuition, the faithful connection, the oneness feeling, the positivity and calm and
the neutrality to approach every other thing in your day with clarity and a clean spiritual posture.

4. Ground Yourself
If you are reading this, you have most likely participated in my grounding
exercise that I offer in every initial Intuitive Wellness session. If you have not
experienced my grounding exercise, download it for free here. There are
many grounding exercises and guided visualizations available for free on
YouTube as well. My favorite grounding exercises are ones that allow you to
feel centered, to feel your own Divine Light shining within you, that connect
you to your soul, spirit and Higher Self.
Grounding is simply getting connected to the earth, to your soul, to your
inner landscape. It can be done anywhere, from your cubicle to outside
under a tree. It is most easily done with eyes closed, and takes between 5
and 20 minutes or so, so make sure you are prepared for that. As a daily
practice, it can help you get into a meditative space, and is great to do
before any type of meeting or interview to release anxiety and get
centered. Grounding also helps me before my yoga practice, I feel more
steadied, relaxed and connected.

5. Clear Your Vessel
It is important to keep your energetic field and your
vessel, (your beautiful body) clean psychically.
There are 3 easy ways to do this:
ONE:
Clear your chakras. Google this exercise. It is so helpful
to know if your energy centers are blocked or smoothly
running energy. If one or more of our energy centers is
blocked, we can sometimes feel out of alignment, or
less optimum functionality in our bodies. We may feel

6. Illuminate Prayers & Intentions
Saying your prayers, setting your intentions and using the symbolism of a candle to represent your
light and your connection to the Divine as a daily practice is one of the easiest ways to stay
connected and keep you spiritual practice alive and healthy. You don’t have to use a candle,
but it is a wonderful symbol of so many things including light, hope, divinity, wisdom, healing, love,
truth, the soul, celebration, intuition, power, holiness, connection, attraction, peace, purity etc.
What does your candle mean to you? What does it symbolize? Perhaps you will you create your
own sacred ceremony with your candles, prayers and intentions.
7. Ask in Each Moment
There is support for us in every single moment. We are quite literally made of energy,
swimming in a field of energetic support. We are here to thrive. It serves us well to slow down
and ask in each moment for direction and guidance. Even when we are sure of a choice we
are about to make, it still helps to have validation from our own Divine guidance. It may help
to start with your eyes closed, until asking and receiving answers literally becomes a habit, so
that you know the signs when something is definitely a yes for you or a definite no.
Asking if the meeting you are about to head into, if your current career path, if the salad you
are about to eat for lunch today brings you closer to your Divine alignment, leaves you stuck,
or sends you back into old patterns...can really help you determine the direction of your day.
Stop to ask in every moment when you don’t already have clear guidance and next steps,
and ask even when you do. It can help you build your intuition.

8. Check in With Your Heart
Another wonderful tool for making decisions aligned with your
truth and highest good, is checking in with your heart.
First, close your eyes and go
to your heart chakra or
energy center.
— This is wherever you point to your body and say “me”, or the
center of your chest. Feel into being at a beautiful tropical
beach. The weather is so beautiful, you can’t tell the
difference between the air and your body, you feel at one
with nature, peaceful and calm. Now, describe to yourself
what the beach and the essence of ocean feel like to you. Do
this for 30 seconds. Then write the descriptive adjectives that
come up for you down in a journal.
Then close your eyes again, sink back into your heart center
and feel what it would be like to be stuck in the backseat of a
Mini Cooper, you have no control over locks, windows, or
temperature. You are belted in, late for a meeting, on a
bridge, and stuck in horrendous traffic. Feel that for 30 seconds
in your heart-space. Then write down the descriptive
adjectives you experienced.
This is one simple way to know the intuition in your heart. The
feeling of ocean is a “yes” and traffic is a “no”. Now, take a
decision you’re thinking about and drop it into your heartspace, does it feel like ocean or traffic? Did the yes or no
come easier this time?

9. Try Cards
Angel, oracle, blessing and tarot cards can all be
wonderful tools to help us connect to our inner
guidance, intuition and knowing. The cards themselves
have no power, but the power of your intentions and
questions, as well as your radiant open heart and
energetic field do have power. You can bless your
deck of chosen cards with white light, you can ask
that they only serve your highest good, and you can
ask to be Divinely guided as you choose cards. There
are also wonderful instruction manuals with the decks
of cards. I really like Doreen Virtue’s Angel cards, and
many of the ones listed on Hay House’s website for
beginners. Choose your deck and cards intuitively!
(With these and any other physical tool, please know
that it is simply that, a tool, not a crutch, so use them
appropriately and also try everything that helps you
go deeper without the external tools because
everything you need to bring intuition into your daily
spiritual practice for Intuitive Wellness is already inside
of you!)
*My oracle card decks are in the works and will be
available soon!

10. Guided Writing
Guided writing is quite possibly my very favorite tool to use in my daily spiritual
practice, not only because I love to write, but also because it is so beyond me! This
is the tool that helps me get way out of my own way and my own head, and let
the Divine lead. I have been doing it long enough now that it comes through in
absolutely beautiful ways. It still carries so much mystery and wonder for me. You
can do guided or automatic writing about anything you want to!
One of my favorite questions to ask is simply, “What do I need to know today for
my highest good?” I often check in with a guided writing journal entry before I
write the monthly guidance newsletter.
Here’s how:
Grab a favorite pen or pencil and a journal or piece of paper, (you can do this on
the computer as well, but I find it is easier and a more pure experience in written
form).
Find a quiet spot where you won’t be distracted, and close your eyes. Get
grounded and bless your guided writing process. You can ask for specific deities,
guides, masters, angels, energies or gurus to write through you, or you can just
invite them all in. You can also simply open up and ask your own soul or Higher Self
to come through. Ask that whatever comes through today is for the highest good
of all, and is blessed in Divine Light.
Allow your guides to write through you, let your hand move at a pace not forced
or controlled by you, it may not look like your handwriting and there will be words
you wouldn’t typically use, this is all perfect. Write until there is no more information
coming through, and resist any urge to edit. If nothing is coming through, ask a
specific question in your heart and mind’s eye.
Thank your guides and your Higher Self for this information and connected session.
This is one of the easiest and best way to remember
that you are a channel, a glorious vessel of the Divine!
