UUTUUS! ValoKIVI
Valokivet valmistetaan Suomessa kierrätyslasista
(n. 70 paino%). Valokivi kestää hyvin UV-säteilyä,
kemikaaleja sekä maantiesuolaa. Valokivet asennetaan
ja saumataan kuten vastaavanlaiset betonikivet.
Kuten betoni- ja luonnonkivien kohdalla, hiekan varaan
asennettaessa huollettavuus ja kivien mahdollinen
vaihtaminen on helpointa. Mikäli muu kiveys asennetaan
esim. maakostean betonimassan varaan, kannattaa
pienelle alueelle valokiven alle laittaa hiekkaa.

Virransyöttö valokiville tuodaan johdotuksella kivikentän
alla.
Valokivi on kestävyydeltään vähintään betonikiveä
vastaava. Se soveltuu käytettäväksi kävelyteille ja
kevyenliikenteen väylille.

Illuminated stones are manufactured in Finland, using
recycled glass (the percentage by weight is approx.
70%). Illuminated stones are resistant to UV radiation,
chemicals, and road salt. The stones are installed and
seamed just as similar concrete stones are.
As with concrete and natural stones, maintaining and, if
necessary, replacing the stones are easiest when they are
installed on sand. If other stones are installed on a damp
concrete mass, for example, you should place sand on a
small area beneath the illuminated stone.

Power to the illuminated stones is supplied through
wiring under the stone field.
The durability of the illuminated stones is at least as good
as that of concrete stones. They are suitable for use on
walkways as well as pedestrian and bicycle ways.
