Consolidation Consolidationallowsyoutodeletebackupswhichyounolongerneedfromabackupchain. Achaintobeconsolidatedcanconsistofafullbackupandoneormoreincrementalbackups. Ifnecessary,youcandeletethebasefullbackupfromthechain.Theprogramwillcreateanewfull backupinplaceoftheoldestremainingbackup.Consolidationkeepswhicheverbackupsyouchoose anddeletesanybackupsthatarenotselected.
