JR-KONEISTUS OY and NUCOS OY start co-operation
Nucos Oy and JR-Koneistus Oy have agreed that sales and the dealership of machine tools
are transferred from Nucos Oy to JR-Koneistus Oy. However, the after sales services, assembly,
training, service and spare parts will stay at Nucos. At the same time, Nucos will become a shareholder of JR-Koneistus Oy.
JR-Koneistus Oy was founded in 1995. In the beginning, the operations were concentrated on
machining technically demanding work pieces. Thanks to this, our knowledge of cnc-controlled
machines is now based on a long hands-on experience.
With the help of this co-operation with Nucos Oy, JR-Koneistus will further develop and increase its
resources required for sales and services of machine tools, says Juri Virkki, Managing Director at JRKoneistus Oy. Juri Virkki is in charge of sales together with Ari Prittinen from Nucos Oy.
Juri Virkki has had a 35-year long experience of cnc-controlled machines. Previously he has worked
for an importer as well as working as a metal workshop entrepreneur. Ari Prittinen has built up a great
deal of experience in the business for the last 40 years, during which he has been in charge of selling
machine tools at Nucos for the last 25 years.
In the future, JR-Koneistus Oy will be the dealer for all cnc-controlled machines that Nucos Oy had
dealership of, and will be taking care of both import and sales. Nucos Oy’s machine tools suppliers
are committed to support this transition and have also expressed their support for JR-Koneistus Oy, to
ensure the effective marketing of machine tools in Finland.

Machinery Industry Co., Ltd., Tongtai Topper Machine & Tool Co., Ltd., You Ji Machine
Industrial Co., Ltd, Quicktech Machinery Co., Ltd. and Campro Precision Machinery Company
Ltd.
Nucos Oy has not only sold cnc-controlled machines but also acted as a supplier of manufacturers’
after sales services (assembly, training, service and spare parts) for the last 27 years. In addition,
Nucos Oy is known for being the biggest moderniser of cnc-machines in Finland. Over the past 20
years or so, Nucos Oy has modernised nearly 90 special metal- and wood machines and robots
equipped with Num and Fanuc cnc-controll systems. Nucos Oy is an expert within the metal industry
and its clientele consists of both small to medium sized companies as well as big well known Finnish
metal companies. Nucos Oy has been more or less self-sufficient within the metal industry, because
the company has done everything itself, from planning its modernisation, machinery, assembly,
training and documentation. Also in the future, the focus of Nucos Oy’s operations will be to further its
modernisation with metal workshop automation, i.e. increasing the use of robots and, being a wellknown and reliable supplier of spare parts.

Oiva Viitanen continues working for Nucos Oy and is managing the operations with the help of his
experienced staff. Also the close co-operation with JR-Koneistus Oy continues including, for example,
the assembly of new machines, servicing and producing other technical service assistance.
