THE VISION MED IME ESSIEN-HESSEL
THE VISION MED IME ESSIEN-HESSEL 3-7 AUGUSTI 2015 Öppen för: Professionellt yrkesverksamma dansare Tidpunkt: Träning 13.00–14.30 och workshop 14.45–17.00. Plats: SITE Sweden studio, Telefonplan, LM Ericssons väg 26, Stockholm I.M.E - INNER MOVEMENT EVOLUTION Every day will start with a regular open class (13.00-14.30) and continue with the workshop at 14.45. It is recommended that you participate in both class and workshop. Considering teaching, rehearsing, guiding as a journey that starts with a clear personal vision, this workshop invites you to learn and explore to be an ‘Inside Outside-Eye’ in order to bring your vision = yourself across and into action. I consider it crucial to be in a judgement-free way, truly & clearly aware of what, meaning who we see in front of us, what we feel within us at the same time and how those two and other aspects of the process need to come together for a successful and pleasurable outcome in the end. We will explore possible ways together and offer guidelines in regards to: - Who is the person teaching/ rehearsing/ choreographing? - How are the dynamics in the group? = Sensing/ reading the energy flow within the body, the group and therefore in the working process - The quality of self-connected communication as a key tool for efficient guiding, teaching and rehearsing - Definition of working levels The focus lies on efficient sensing of how the working process as a whole is a movement. Any situation, even an apparently difficult one, can be used as a resource for solution finding, if one can read the right signals and messages. The workshop is guided by the principles of Process Inquiry® and Dansergia®, the verbal and physical solutionoriented approach for multi-level personal development. The workshop does not follow a pre-set structure but creates itself in the moment with the themes of the participants. It entails working with and transferring to dance improvisation, created material by the dancers in the moment or with existing/ given choreography. The class prior to each workshop day serves both as a warm-up and as a natural place for application and continuation of the process initiated in the workshop. The workshop is appropriate for professional dancers and makers. Participation will require that each person enter with maturity, self- responsibility and an openness to engage into personal and non-judgemental exploration. Since the workshop is physical, the participants are requested to be warmed up – if no class before - bring warm clothes (for sitting feed-back rounds in between), and something to write for documenting the own process. Participation of the workshop is only possible from the beginning and in continuation. The workshop language is English. “You see who you are, you feel who you really are and what you really want. You ARE your vision. You look out for who the others are. You accept. And then, ...you lead the journey of coming together.
