Coach Pedro Rita serves as Director of Soccer Development at WideWorld Sports Center, and oversees WideWorld’s Summer Soccer Camp program, now in its ninth year of operation. Coach Pedro holds a USSF A coaching license and a master’s degree in Physical Education. His extensive coaching experience includes stops at Nike’s Vogelsinger Soccer Camp and the World Soccer Academy, along with head coaching positions for both men’s and women’s teams at Niagara County Community College, as well as for the University of Michigan Women’s Club soccer team. In addition to his responsibilities at WideWorld, Pedro coaches the Canton Soccer Club U14 girls, U16 girls, and U18 boys teams. He has also written and illustrated a number of children’s books, including several about soccer. His vast knowledge and understanding of the game, along with his experience playing professionally in Brazil—a country known for its soccer prowess—is unparalleled. David is in his ninth year at WideWorld’s Summer Soccer Camp. Coach Sinuê Zardo played professionally in Brazil, Uruguay, Portugal, and Guatemala, and worked in Brazil and South Korea as a coach and physical trainer. He holds a master’s degree in Physical Education. Coach Marcello played professionally as a midfielder for five different teams in Brazil. He has coached the men’s team at Lehigh Valley Community College, as well as the Lehigh Valley Lions U14 boys team. At present, Marcello coaches several Michigan Tigers FC teams, and is in his seventh year at WideWorld’s Summer Soccer Camp. Our goal is to make our campers better athletes while they participate in our programs. Our Soccer Program: WideWorld’s coaching staff work tirelessly to develop youth soccer players through WideWorld’s regimen of indoor and outdoor camps. Our international program begins with fundamental skills, giving players valuable techniques as they move into game situations. FREE Each session is high-impact, featuring intense drills for small periods of time. Through our program, players will learn new skills, build confidence in their newfound abilities, and have fun playing the Brazilian style of soccer.
