Dr. Gregory Aarons is a clinical and organizational psychologist, a
professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of
California, San Diego (UCSD). He is a renowned researcher in the
fields of quality improvement and implementation in health services.
The current research of Dr. Aarons focuses on identifying and
improving leadership and organizational factors that impact quality of
mental health, substance abuse, and HIV services and implementation
in real-world practice settings. This includes improving organizational
context and training managers and supervisors to become effective
and successful leaders.
Dr. Aarons is an invited speaker at several influential venues on
implementation research and dissemination, and has provided
numerous seminars, lectures and training across the United States and
South Africa.
