Physics of Oil recovery
Goal: To improve our understanding of basic physical mechansims
related to improved oil recovery
-Increase understanding of stimulated gas and water injection.
-Understand upscaling of fluid structures from small to intermediate and
large scales
-Improve the understanding of down-well hydrofracture.
-Study experimentally the geometry of single fractures and fracture
networks.
