Inspired by the events surrounding the 1609 voyage of Henry Hudson on the river that now bears his name, this drama is a coming-of-age tale of two boys. Teme Gwitett is the grandson of a Mohican sachem living on the great river called Maheakanuk. John Hudson is the son of Henry & crew member aboard the Half Moon.
