Columbia County.
We hope that you will take the opportunity to look around and visit our county. Columbia County is one of the
fastest growing counties in Georgia and has a lot exciting activities to keep you busy. Our department’s park
system has baseball/softball complexes, football/soccer complexes, a gymnasium facility (with 2 regulation
basketball courts, 4 racquetball courts, an exercise room and meeting rooms) and a beautiful 975 acre park
located on Clarks Hill Lake (with campsites, a mega boat ramp system, picnic area, bike and hiking trails, beach
area and the International Disc Golf Center). The county has a great amusement park, plenty of shopping areas,
restaurants and many other things to do. If you have any questions concerning any of these, just ask one of
our staff.

Bartram Trail
B Bartram Trail GC is Augusta’s newest daily fee
golf course. Located next to Patriot’s Park in
Grovetown, Georgia, the Bartram Trail course
takes full advantage of the mature hardwood
and pine forests on either side of Euchee Creek.
Players at Bartram Trail will find a course that
is a little over 6,700 yards in length with bentgrass greens averaging 6,200 square feet. Taking
advantage of the rolling terrain, wetland areas,
and creek bed. It has an unusual par 72 course
with five par 3’s and par 5’s instead of the typical
course with four each.

County’s recreational crown. Since opening in the
fall of 2007, the facility has constantly been in use
with some of the following events: Peach Belt

and recreational activities of all kinds.

International Disc Golf Center

G The International Disc Golf Center is located in Columbia
Country’s Wildwood Park. It is the home of the
Professional Disc Golf Association that manages the
International Disc Golf Center. This 2,700 square foot
facility is equipped with a full service pro shop, snack
vending area, commons area, meeting rooms and
handicap accessible restrooms. Also located at this
center is the “Steady” Ed Headrick Museum that
showcases historical items from the early days of
the sport.

I Found in the active city of Grovetown, Liberty

K Patriot’s Park is a one-stop facility for residents
and visitors alike. The Gymnasium Complex is a

1,400 sq. ft. activity/meeting room.

L Petersburg Racquet Club is the premiere tennis
club in Columbia County. Their professional staff
is one of the strongest in the South. Each year
PRC consistently fields the most USTA league
players in the CSRA and trains more juniors

Three Oaks Golf Course
N The 18-hole “Three Oaks” course at the Three
Oaks Golf Course facility in Harlem, Georgia
features 6,514 yards of golf from the longest
tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 69.7
and it has a slope rating of 114 on Bermuda
grass. Designed by Roy Sturkey, the Three
Oaks golf course opened in 1997.

O Riverside Park is a multi-use recreational facility that
is located on the banks of Betty’s Branch, a tributary
of the Savannah River. The facility includes; a boat
ramp, fishing pier and floating docks for easy access
to the Savannah River. A large picnic shelter and
restroom facility are also located near the boat
ramp.
River access is one of the major attractions. The
park also boasts a state-of-the-art recreation
complex that includes; tennis courts and a beach
volleyball court, 8 baseball/softball fields and two
large playgrounds.

Savannah rapids Park
P Savannah Rapids Park is situated on an 80-foot
bluff overlooking the beautiful Savannah River
and the Historic Augusta Canal. Home of the
Savannah Rapids Regional Visitor Information
