Specialized Master Ecole des Métiers de l’Environnement Industrial Eco-Efficiency and Eco-Innovation Expand your skill set by incorporating a specialization in the area of eco-innovation. SPECIALIZED MASTER’S PROGRAM The Specialized Master’s Program at EME is an 18-month long program, certified by the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles. This program benefits from close ties with schools, research laboratories, and the business world, ties that ensure both rigor and technical skills, with competence in management and adaptability to the needs of company executives and managers. The program’s objective is to train experts in the field of eco-innovation who are capable of responding to the environmental challenges that companies and industries face. The program incorporates the knowledge, methods, and skills necessary to innovate: How to limit environmental impacts Improve financial and social performance of structures Combine eco-efficiency and relevance Integrate into the local community SKILL SETS REQUIRED OF EXPERTS IN ECO-EFFICIENCY After this program, you will have the skill and knowledge to: Develop and finalize new products, new eco-technologies, or new services linked to local problems: with the objective of developing innovations, it is the expert who gathers the necessary data to propose an eco-innovative project based on his or her knowledge of the market, production sectors, and local issues. It’s an important creative step, which should lead to the realization of new developments (in procedures, products, or services). Study the feasibility of eco-innovative projects, define adapted methodologies and technical skills: the knowledge of methodologies and ad hoc tools of eco-efficiency allows the expert to develop a technical proposition for an eco-innovative project, to identify and study brakes and levers, in agreement with local policies. Supervise and coordinate an eco-innovative project and a multidisciplinary team: from the preliminary stages of design and feasibility study, the expert will be responsible for the project, management of a team of employees from various disciplines, and coordinate the development program of an eco-innovation. He or she will be able to monitor the project and enhance scientifically and commercially the eco-efficient solution.
