*CPU: CPU means Can Pick Up. You are not required to pick up but you may if you are out of the game on that particular
hole. Use ESC scoring. Record your maximum for the hole or what you would have gotten if you had continued if it is less
than your max. This means you do not have to continue when you have a 10+ score. However, only some games are CPU
games. Sometimes you must complete all holes to be part of the game for the day. CPU games help us in summer when
it is so hot. Picking up also keeps the pace of play at 4 hours. Best of all, the player can stop before the feeling gets even
worse. However, if the player wants to continue for a chip-in or another reason they may continue.
Note: On June 1 and September 28 we do not have a WGA Play Day. We may plan a bonus event for those days. We will
play a scramble at one of our courses starting at 12:28. This will count as a WGA event. The course cannot be determined
until 90 days in advance. It will be announced and sign up will be available.
Description of Games
Closing Step Aside Scramble
Everyone hits off each tee but the person whose shot is chosen steps aside for the next shot. After each shot the one
chosen steps aside so only three players hit each of the shots until the ball is holed. Each team will have an A, B, C and D
player. This event is not flighted.
Fairways and Greens
Keep gross scores for posting. In the net score box, record points for each hole: 1, 0, or -1. Player gets 1 point for hitting
drive in the fairway or on the green for par 3s. Player gets -1 point if she has more than 2 putts. Player gets a 0 if fairway
is missed or fairway point is lost by three putting for a -1 or neither fairway point or putting point is in play. Add the total
points scored on each hole for the team score. This will be flighted and played in flights.
Low Gross and Low Net
One low gross and one low net winner in each flight. Not same person. CC/DD will lead off.
Low Net Front/Low Net Back
Keep gross/net scores. Net from front nine and net from back nine are the game scores. One winner of front nine and
one winner of back nine by flight. Flights will be paired together.
Odds and Evens
Add total net score on odd holes and total net score on even holes. There will be a winner of odds and a winner of evens
in each flight. Flights will be paired together with D players leading off.
One Low Net
The lowest net ball of the two is the score on each hole. Enter gross/net for each player, (5/4). Circle the net score you are
using for your team score. CPU if you are out of the hole.
One Net Odds and One Gross Evens
Two person team will use one low net on odd holes and one low gross score on even holes. This is flighted and you will
play in flights. This is a CPU game.
Opening Day Scramble
Select best shot of foursome and all hit from there within a club’s length not nearer the hole and in like conditions. Use
each player’s tee shot at least once on the front and once on the back. Big sisters and little sisters will be paired together.
Otherwise each team will have an A, B, C and D player. This event is not flighted.
Par 3s & 5s
Add net on par 3s and 5s for your game score. This is a CPU game on the par 4s. Event is flighted but you may be paired
with a player from any flight.
Par 4s
Add net on par 4s only for your game score. This is a CPU game on par 3s and 5s. Event is flighted but you may be paired
with a player from any flight.
PYP Modified Alternate Shot
Both players tee off on each hole. Select one drive and then alternate each shot from there until the ball is holed.
PYP Scramble
Both players tee off on each hole. Select best shot and both hit from there within a club’s length not nearer the hole and
in like conditions. Repeat until the ball is holed.
PYP Solheim Cup
Holes 1-6 scramble, 7-12 best ball net, 13-18 modified alternate shot (partners will both tee off, pick best ball, then
alternate shot until the ball is holed). This event is flighted but teams might not play within their flight.
Shamble – Best Two Nets
Shamble (Foursome): All four tee off. Select the best shot. Play out individually from there until each has holed out.
Scoring is the 2 lowest net balls. (Enter gross/net, e.g. 5/4). Circle the scores used and add them together for your team
score. CPU as your score is not valid for posting anyway.
Sixes
One best ball net will count for your team on Par 5s, two best balls net on Par 4s and three best balls net on Par 3s. This
is flighted and will be played in flights. CPU.
Stableford
Record gross/net scores and whatever Stableford points are earned for the hole. Points are based on your net score per
hole. 0 pt. - bogey or more; 1 pt. - par; 2 pts. - birdie; 4 pts. - eagle; 8 pts. - double eagle. Add each team member’s points
to get the team score for each hole and the total for the team.
Ts & Fs
Circle the net score for each hole beginning with a T (2, 3, 10, 12, 13) or F (4, 5, 14, 15). Upon completion, total those 9
net scores. This event is flighted but flights will not be paired together. This is a CPU event.
Throw Out Three Worst Holes
Keep each player’s gross and net score for 18 holes. Then each player circles their three worst holes and subtracts the net
total for those three holes from their overall net score. Players will be mixed with anyone from any flight.
Two Low Nets
Combine best two net scores of the four players per hole. Two A players will be paired with two B players to create a team.
Two C players will be paired with two D players to create a team. AA/BB will lead off. This is a CPU event.
Two Blind Holes
After play has begun, the Pro Shop staff will pick one hole from the front nine and one hole from the back nine to be
thrown out. Same holes for all players. Total your score, subtract your handicap for net. WGA scorers will subtract blind
hole scores from your total net. This event is flighted but flights will not be paired together.
Waltz 1 - 2 - 3
On first hole, count one low net; on second hole, count two low nets; on third hole, count three low nets for the team
score. Repeat sequence through 18 holes. Add the total team net score for the game. This is a CPU game.
White Tees - Low Net
All players will play from the white tees. Low net winners will be awarded by flight but flights will not be paired together.
