Each Food Stall holder is required by the Council to understand they are
responsible for the availability of sufficient equipment for their food
storage and food heating for the day of the event.
WCC require that the Newtown Festival organisers ensure all stallholders agree to and
meet prescribed safe food handling requirements. [This may mean turning down
potential stallholders or asking approved stallholders to leave the event on the day if
they are unable to meet the requirements.]

contact the Newtown Festival Office by email or phone (04) 389 7316

STALLHOLDER: Please complete and sign this form Newtown Festival Street Fair
ALL stalls selling food at the Newtown Festival must
include a hand washing station. (see page 4 for details)
At Newtown Festival food stalls are clustered in precincts near where there is hot water for hand and
utensil washing. Nearby there are also toilets stall holders can use. Your stall site information packs will
show you where the nearest of these are located. In the morning, when you set up, ask your fair Site
Marshal to point these out to you and to show you where you can empty a water bucket (if you have one).

Empty your bucket in the nearby drain (or garden) as instructed by the Festival Stall Marshals (ask them at set up time) DO NOT empty buckets into the gutter – other stall holders have goods
