and light-weight oils like 0W-20
and 5W-20, you’re getting left
behind. Don’t subject yourself to
turning away service because you
don’t have the proper oil in stock.

motor oil guide and find those oils
that suit your customers’ needs
and meet the service requirements of these newer vehicles. S
Remember days of yore when you seldom
installed even a 5W-30 oil? That’s not the
case with these vehicles. For example, the
Ford F-Series pickups require a 5W-20
motor oil equivalent to MotorCraft — a
synthetic blend, and specialty, motor oil.
Chevrolet Silverado pickups require dexos,
either a 0W-20 or 5W-30 weight, depending on the engine type — again another
specialty motor oil. As you look down the
