By presenting work to Facet international marketing you are accepting the terms and conditions specified in the quotation, as well as the following terms and conditions
pertaining to shipping, handling and delivery of trade show properties.
1. Facet international marketing is not an insurer. Insurance of your own properties, graphics, product displays, etc. should be obtained by you. It is suggested that you
arrange all risk coverage. This can be done by endorsement to your existing policies. Your materials should be insured from the time they leave your company premises
until they are returned after the close of the show, including the time when they are stored at our event facilities or are in transit to and from show sites.
2. The preparation of properties for transportation and the shipping, delivery, or mailing of goods is performed as a convenience for you the customer. Charges will be
billed for materials, labor and actual costs of the carrier. Facet international marketing assumes no responsibility for costs or similar costs that are incurred as a result
of late delivery, damage in transit, or other circumstances beyond the control of Facet international marketing. Delivery is complete upon arrival of your properties at the
designated receiving point (such as shipping company, common carriers or couriers) upon receipt of your written instructions. Facet international marketing assumes no
responsibility after delivery.
3. Facet international marketing and its subcontractors shall not be responsible for damage or loss resulting from any act of the exhibitor or any shipper, including, but not
limited to, improper packing or loading of materials, neglect to describe materials sufficiently, and neglect to mark materials properly.
4. Facet international marketing and its subcontractors shall not be responsible for damage to/or loss of uncrated materials, or for damage concealed from
Facet international marketing.
5. There may be a period of time between the delivery of your materials to the booth by Facet international marketing or it subcontractors and the arrival at the booth
of a representative during which the materials will be left unattended. Facet international marketing and its subcontractors shall not be responsible for loss, theft, or
disappearance of materials during this period or any time prior to reloading after the show.
6. Facet international marketing and its subcontractors shall not be responsible for damage to crates that are stored outside the exhibit hall or to any loss or damage
beyond our control.
7. Claims for loss or damage, while on show site, must be reported immediately to your insurance company with notification to Facet international marketing.
We recommend an incident report be completed within 24 hours and submitted to your insurance company as soon as possible.
8. Facet international marketing and its subcontractors shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, or delay due to theft, defective equipment, breakage, leakage,
dangers of the sea or lake, weather, fire, Acts of God, acts of a terrorism, acts or mandates of a public authority, the inherent nature or propensities of any material
to be handled, strikes, lockout or work stoppages of any kind, delay caused in transportation or delivery other than delay caused by the negligence of Facet international
marketing or its subcontractors, or to any other cause beyond the control of Facet international marketing or its subcontractors.
