Autonomous Higher Education Institutions
PREFACE
This Statistical Bulletin presents the data on enrolment and graduate of both
public and private higher education institutions (HEIs) in Region I for SY 2013-2014, in
various discipline groups. The data are based on the Higher Education Management
Information System (HEMIS) forms which were
accomplished and submitted to this
Office by HEIs and segregated by sector, province, institutional type, program level and
sex.
The information contained in this bulletin may be utilized by our stakeholders as
basis for the preparation of programs and projects that will
respond to the ever
changing needs of the global and local economies. These data could be effective aides
in policy and decision making and in charting future directions for a more responsive
delivery of higher education services.
We thank, therefore, our Presidents/School Heads of HEIs in Region I and their personnel for
collaborating
with this Office in the production of this Bulletin. May this serve as a testament of our
continued commitment to develop Filipinos who are responsible members of the international community.
