The Mayslake Estate was saved from demolition by efforts of the Mayslake Landmark Conservancy and the
DuPage County Forest Preserve. Charles Pipal, AIA authored an Historic Structures Report, and provided the
architectural services for the repair of the mansion’s slate roof and restoration of the historic gate and entrance
walls.
