Pearson Annual Health Check up Policy Policy name: Annual Health check up Effective Date: July 2105 Owner: Performance & Rewards, Human Resource Approver: Vice President – Human Resource, India Next review: January 2016 1 Objective PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE! The annual health checkup policy has been formulated to encourage awareness about employee’s own health and to provide avenues of preventive care thereby keeping the employee healthy, engaged and productive. Eligibility criteria and coverage All confirmed employees across all age groups and all career stages of the organization are eligible for this preventive health check up once every calendar year. Employees who have resigned and are serving notice will not be eligible to avail any benefits under this policy. Salient Features a. Pearson annual health check up comprises a comprehensive set of tests, which have been designed keeping employee health needs across all ages. These tests have been mentioned in Annexure A of this policy document. b. Truworth Health Technologies Pvt Ltd, a comprehensive Health and Wellness Company and our current vendor of wellness services has been appointed as the Administrator for Annual Health Checks for Pearson employees Pan India. Truworth Wellness will be the single point of contact for our employees/administrators of Pearson regarding appointments/queries ([email protected]) c. Medical tests under the health check up plan have been divided into 3 categories based on the age group of employees. For details of the tests, please refer to Annexure A. i. Group 1: Annual health checkup up to age of 29 ii. Group 2: Annual health check for the age group more than 29 and less than 39 iii. Group 3: Annual health check for the more than 39 years age d. Queries regarding any request raised for appointment reschedule or cancellation has to be placed on [email protected] with a copy to HR function representative. e. Employees can also cover their dependents – spouse, two children (till the age of 25), mother and father, within the same price limits as prescribed for various age groups in this policy document. An option for scheduling health test appointment for dependents will be available on the portal at the time of placing the request for self (employee). However, employee will be required to make the payment online through wellness portal through secured payment gateway. 2 Process 1. Login to www.pearson-wellness.com and go to Annual Health Check Registration link available in the Latest & Upcoming events section. 2. Register by providing required information including preferred time of Appointment (appointment date should not be less than 2 working days from the date of registration). 3. Employee will receive a confirmatory mail along with the Diagnostic Laboratory details within 48 hours of placing request. 4. Registered employees will be given two more chances to change the registered appointment slot. Any further attempt for changing the slot will lead to cancellation of Annual Health Checks for that particular employee for the year. 5. All cancellation requests have to be sent at [email protected]. Cancellation request has to be initiated 24 hours before the scheduled time of appointment. 6. All employees are required to show the health check confirmation mailer (on smart phone or print) along with a valid ID proof and Pearson employee ID card for verification at the Diagnostic Laboratory. 7. Within 1 week of completing health test employee will receive an email with confirmation of reports being uploaded onto the wellness portal (https://pearsonwellness.com/) account of the employee. Employee will have an option to download the report for reference as well as keep a copy in the respective account. 8. Wherever there are no empanelled medical test centers/hospitals/pathological labs, employees can avail the benefits as per the tests and price mentioned for the defined age groups. This can be only availed when there is not even a single test center available in a given location. Non-availability of a center at any location has to be endorsed by Truworth and approved by HR.
