years” from 1900 through the 1920s. Wes and Barbara Gotlock, authors of
Amusement Parks of NYC, will present an illustrated lecture about the amusement
parks (other than Coney Island) that entertained millions starting around the turn
of the 20th century.
Tuesday, April 21 • 7:00pm • Program code: SAASW4
Because women manage multiple roles, they may have fewer
years in the workforce and less time to focus on financial planning.
Generally speaking, with longevity on their side, women often
need to take extra care in planning for long-term financial security.
This informative seminar will be presented by Brian McCormick,
Financial Advisor with McCormick Wealth Management Group.

of Business Development and Client Services at R.W. Rogé &
Company in Bohemia, will discuss the nuts and bolts of sound
financial retirement planning.
Monday, April 6 • 7:00pm • Program code: SAATSF4
On March 25, 1911, a fire broke out on the floor of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory
in NYC, consuming the building and 146 workers. The senseless deaths of these
mostly young women galvanized a city, a state, and a nation to action. Richard
A. Greenwald, Ph.D., Dean of the School of Humanities & Social Sciences at
Brooklyn College, will share perspectives on this tragic and significant historical
event.
Tuesday, April 14 • 7:00pm • Program code: SAACI4
Take a trip back in time with historian and memorabilia collector Paul Brigandi.
