These were performed for the first time in the main churches of St. Nicholas and St. Thomas. At the Leipzig Bach Festival, Bach’s works can be experienced where they were originally performed. The major Bach performers of our time will play here, including Bach’s own ensemble, the more than 800 years old St. Thomas Choir of Leipzig.
