Hotel Lungomare in Cesenatico boasts a long tradition of hospitality.
Since 1954, the Pasolini family has been welcoming guests and offering an oasis
of relaxation and well-being, an ideal spot for biking enthusiasts from beginners
to professionals, intent on cycling through unspoilt villages and experiencing
panoramic hills and landscapes, from the Adriatic Sea to the Apennine mountains
stretching between Tuscany and Emilia Romagna.
Cesenatico is a land of cyclists and the birthplace of Marco Pantani, the great
climber, who trained in the hinterland hills and got 46 career victories! But
Cesenatico, also offers many opportunities to the mountain biking lovers, with
many beautiful trails in the pine forest or hills and cyclists who use city bikes and
electric bikes can discover the great culinary and cultural traditions of the area.
The Lungomare Hotel is the ideal partner for your cycling holiday and has hosted
several times professional teams such as Astana, Lampre, Colombia, Idea Conad
Utensilnord, Voralberg, Rusvelo, Sky, Cannondale, Phonak e AG2R.

Every week at the Lungomare Hotel awaits you a full program of excursions and tours in
the beautiful hinterland of Romagna.
Every day there is a different path, accompanied by our guides on the different types of
physical training.
UNMISSABLE EVENTS!
SATURDAY
At 6.30 pm there is the welcome drink and briefing with our guides who will explain the
whole program of the week.
TUESDAY
Don’t miss the appointment with ROMAGNA BETWEEN ART AND TASTE! The tour
includes a visit to the farmhouse with free tasting of typical products such as piadina,
cheeses, meats and desserts. The tour also touches on some of the city landmark of
history and traditions, as Santarcangelo and Rimini, where you can see the Arch of
Augustus, Tiberius’ Bridge and the Malatesta Fortress.
THURSDAY
It is the day of the excursion which takes you to Monteleone or Sorrivoli, small medieval
villages with a half-moon shape around old castles.
Here we will have a snack in the square or a quick grilled. The landscapes are completely
immersed in nature and offer the vision of the remains of a glorious past. Interesting to see,
the cities of Roncofreddo, Montiano and Longiano that are touched by these routes.
FRIDAY
A FRIDAY FOR LIONS is the special excursion reserved for our guests, suitable for
cyclists with a good workout in the legs and provides an early departure by minibus
with bike carrier to reach some of the most beautiful places in Romagna, Marche or
Tuscany and then continue by bicycle.
The tour changes every week and touches on some of the most beautiful areas such
as Carpegna and the Monte Cippo, but also Urbino, the city of the painter Raphael and
the Ridracoli dam and the spectacle of nature and the surrounding landscape.

At the Hotel Lungomare will find 5 different groups that respond to different levels of training.
Everyone can choose the group that best represents him and thus avoid unpleasant waits
during your excursions. Free excursions and trips with expert cycling guides, excluding
reservations made via online portals (e.g. Booking, Expedia etc.) and some travel agencies and
tour operators.

LATTE MACCHIATO GROUP This group is ideal for those who are not very fit and travels at an
average speed of 19/21 km/h. If you like the bike but still more to discover the gastronomic
traditions of the area, enjoy the scents and landscapes, the group Latte Macchiato is the right
for you. The group also is suitable for those traveling with E-Bike (also rentable at the hotel).

ACQUA GASATA GROUP The group Acqua Gasata requires a level of average training and
travels at an average speed of about 21/23 km/h.
It is recommended for cyclists who love contact with nature and the landscape and who want
to increase their performance.
SANGIOVESE GROUP Sangiovese is the typical wine of Romagna, with the strong flavor, just
like this group. The average speed is 24/27 km/h and requires a good workout in the legs.
We recommend it to cyclists accustomed to the pedal and all those that cannot be put off by
the climbs.
SPRITZ GROUP Dedicated to sports or highly trained cyclists, Spritz is a group that maintains an
average speed of 27/30 km/h and tackles difficult trails with routes that reach over 140 km.

CAMOMILLA GROUP ideal for those who are not overly athletic and travel at a speed of around
18-20 km/h. If you like biking simply for immersing yourself in a meadow and smelling the
flowers, for discovering and admiring ancient monuments or for stopping to enjoy an ice cream,
you are in the right group. This group is also suitable for those travelling with e-bikes (which
can also be rented at the hotel).

Hand-Bike who will accompany you in many exciting paths, surrounded by gentle hills that
overlook the sea, passing through beautiful historic villages. When booking, reports our staff
your preference between road bike, MTB, E-Bike and Hand-Bike so you better organize your stay
and report all your needs with our guides.
Francesca, cyclist and hotelier, is the guide of the “Camomilla” group.
With her, guests will be able to discover the beauty and the flavours of ancient cities of the
Romagna inland, such as for example Forlimpopoli and Cesena, at a slow and tranquil pace.
Lorenzo, cyclist and hotelier, is the leader of the group “Latte Macchiato”.
With him will touch city as Pisignano, Santarcangelo, Predappio and Bertinoro, stopping to taste
typical local products, such as cheeses, meats, honey and jams.
Tony, is the guide accompanying the group “Acqua Gasata”.
The itineraries are prepared about 60/70 km, and include hills that lead up to the Castle of
Verucchio, but also affect the waterfront and city as Roncofreddo, Longiano and Montiano.
Ivano, is the guide accompanying the group “Sangiovese” and his more challenging path crosses
Sant’Agata Feltria, a city close to the Marche and Tuscany, a route of 154 kilometers challenging
enough that in some places offers a beautiful view over the sea.
Finally Elio,is the leader of the group “Spritz”, and every year looking for new ways to new
challenges and so many emotions. Don’t miss your tour to Monte Cippo in Carpegna in the
Appennines, with its climbs and great slopes, the route that in 140 km reaches Urbino and the
path leading to the castle of Gradara.

APARTMENT B (approx. 45 sq.m.) in Viale dei
Mille, 111 in the centre of Cesenatico, about
50 metres from the sea and 150 metres from
Levante Park. One room apartment sleeping a
maximum of 4 people on the 3rd floor (attic) with
air-conditioning. Consists in a lounge with double
bed and 2 single beds, kitchenette, 1 en-suite
bathroom, 2 balconies of approx. 15 sq.m. each
with sea view and sun beds and garage for storing
bicycles, pushchairs and beach toys/equipment.
APARTMENT C in the “Il parco B” building
(approx. 80 sq.m.) in Via Euclide 43, between
Valverde and Villamarina di Cesenatico and about
50 metres from the sea. It sleeps 6 and is on
the 3rd floor, served by a lift with air-conditioning.
With lounge, kitchenette, en-suite bathroom,1
double room, 1 double room + 2 beds, washing
machine, balcony and cellar for storing bicycles,
pushchairs and beach toys/equipment.
APARTMENT D in the “Adriatico” building
(approx. 80 sq.m.) in Via Archimede, 11 in
Villamarina di Cesenatico, in a central zone about
180 metres from the sea. It sleeps 5/6 and is on
the 6th and top floor, served by a lift with
air-conditioning. With lounge, kitchenette, en-suite
bathroom with shower cubicle, 2 bedrooms, 1
balcony with sea view, box room and washing
machine.

• Departure: apartments must be vacated on
Saturday by 10.00 am. If you want us take care
of the final cleaning, request the service at the
hotel, before departure we will notify the bill.
• Booking: 30% deposit per apartment per week.
• Balance payment: the full amount due for the
holiday must be settled in cash on the day of
arrival.
