Dear Friends,
Please be patient with this message. It is an instruction on the mystery
of the Holy Trinity.
When we understand a truth it is simple and clear. One of my English
professors told us that a very Deep truth can be written with four letter
words. His example was, “This is my Body”.
This lesson begins with the Second Vatican Council. The Council
teaches that in Catholic doctrine there is a “hierarchy” of truths. If we
know that hierarchy, Catholic doctrine becomes simple and clear.
Paragraph 234 of the Catholic Catechism teaches that “the mystery of
the Holy Trinity is the central mystery of the Christian life and faith.”
Yes, it is good to know that the central mystery of our Catholic faith is
the mystery of the Holy Trinity. Is it not clear and simple that all of
Catholic doctrine is found and understood in the mystery of the Trinity?
The mystery of the Trinity is the central mystery.
Paragraph 237 of the Catholic Catechism teaches that we know that
the mystery of the Holy Trinity because god has revealed it to us. The
Trinity is known because we believe that God’s word is true. We can
spend a lifetime understanding what we believe. We do not believe
what we understand. We believe what God tells us.
Our every experience can lead us to God. Does not creation, nature,
people, what is beautiful, what is good lead us to God? Do not hearing,
tasting, breathing, speaking, lead us to God? Is not our God, Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit a simple truth?
Queridos amigos,
Memorial Service for +Antonio,
+ María, & + Jose Moreno
Favor de estar paciente con este mensaje. Es una enseñanza sobre el
misterio de la Santa Trinidad.
+ Hermi Salas

conducen a Dios?
y clara verdad?

SCRIPTURE REFLECTIONS: After reflecting on today’s
Scripture readings, consider how you would answer the following
questions:
1.
Observe your present environment. How does everything
work together and find harmony?
When has affliction found its blessing in your experience?
When has sadness found its remedy and anxiety its peace?
How do you rate your relationship to the Holy One: close,
distant, off-and-on, a work in progress? What name best
expresses that relationship?
