America’s First Industry
Carteret County’s commercial fishing fleet plays an important role both statewide and nationally in providing fresh fish and shellfish we expect to find in
our restaurants and markets. “Blessing Of The Fleet” is a recognition of those
fishermen and women who have given their lives in the pursuit of commercial
fishing and thanks to those who do it today.
