INTERSPORT GROUP, INC. CUSTOM EXTERIOR CARRIER Sizing Your Carrier Understanding the Alteration Procedure Our alteration procedure is for the LOWER body only. Please use the six base size carriers to find the carrier that fits the officer's UPPER BODY best and then make adjustments to the LOWER BODY as needed. Pay special attention to the armhole area and choose the base size that is long enough to allow for the most comfortable fit under the armpit. LOWER BODY is defined as the overall width of the carrier and the length starting from the top of the side panel down to bottom edge of the carrier. If for any reason an officer cannot find a base size that fits the upper body properly please contact us for full custom size instructions. Insert your body armor w/concealable carrier into the base size that offers the best upper body fit. You may have to try one or two sizes to be certain. 2. Once you've completed step 1 you will notice if the carrier is too short for your body armor, way to big around the waist, or if the cumberbun is too big etc. etc. 3. Once you decide to make an alteration, use the tape measure we provided in the sample kit binder to obtain the correct amount of the adjustment we need to make. 4. Enter all of your alteration measurements into the blank worksheet that is included in this document as well as the sample kit binder. Be sure to go to our YouTube channel for detailed instructions! How can I be sure my alterations are done correctly? All of our size charts are included in this document and they are readily available on our website. Once you receive your carrier you should compare your finished piece to the size chart to ensure that your instructions were followed correctly.
