was founded in a car port in Dania Florida in 1948
out of a need for superior fishing equipment and

Pompanette
offers two distinctive
fighting chair lines:
The International Series
and The Tournament Series.
Although both styles are identical dimensionally and share
the same structural integrity, the manufacturing processes
are very different. The traditional International line of chairs
are hand crafted out of the finest TEAK woods available,
while the low maintenance Tournament Series chairs are
constructed out of an INJECTION MOLDED engineering
grade resin. Both chairs lines share the same undeniable
integrity, the same traditional styling and the same quality
hardware (316L Stainless Steel Investment cast on 130pound class chairs - Anodize cast Aluminum on 80-pound
class chairs). The International line displays the natural
beauty of teak wood protected by 20 or more coats of high
gloss, ultraviolet protective finish. The Tournament Series
comes standard with a high gloss white, polyurethane finish.

together the right way, with 22 stainless steel carriage bolts so that everything has through bolted

The Tournament line of helm seats have the same features as International ladder
back chairs, but are constructed out of an Injection Molded engineering grade resin, and
have a high gloss finish. These helm seats are the ideal low
maintenance chair for any vessel. The Tournament helm seats are
offered in Deluxe and Classic styles, and are available in standard
or narrow sizes.

Pompanette offers a variety of Offset Pedestal sizes to make even the largest boats
fishable. Our Innovative reverse goose neck style of Offset Pedestals allow the chair to
have maximum swing to the corner and sides of large cockpits with ease. Unlike others,
these pedestals are made from a solid piece of 316L stainless steel which is hydraulically
bent to eliminate any welds for superior appearance and strength.

The Maximus is the definition of the modern teak ladder back
helm seat. Crafted from the finest aged teak available, this chair

the Maximus. This chair is shaped and

The Pompanette 80lb and Sailfish series of
fighting chairs are the perfect light duty chair for
every day fishing needs. These chairs are
available in both teak and low maintenance
Injection molded styles. Rated to handle tackle
up to 80lbs, this line of chairs offers the same
features as the 130lb class chairs, including all
through bolted components, but is substituted
with a 2 7/8” aluminum pedestal and bright dip,
anodized aluminum hardware. The light weight
and small turning radius of these chairs make
them the ideal choice for smaller vessels with
limited cockpit space.

Rocket Launchers have evolved into one of the most important pieces of equipment on today’s sport fishing vessels.
Rocket Launchers provide a centralized location in which anglers can monitor multiple rods at one time while kite fishing, or use their chair mounted Rocket Launcher to run the long outrigger lines in order to open up the cockpit. Chair
mounted Rocket Launchers serve as a replacement option for the fighting chair’s ladder backrest. They can be mounted
to any 80 lb. or 130 lb fighting chair. Pompanette rocket launcher configurations range from the traditional 4 rod pedestal
mount and chair launcher, to the intricate 10 rod style. No one in the industry has more Rocket Launcher offerings than
Pompanette and we are happy to customize one to fit your needs.
Pedestal mount Rocket Launchers are free standing units that are securely fastened to the cockpit sole by means of a
flush mount deck plate. The rocket launcher’s deck plate mounting feature enables it to be easily removed when not in
use. The boltless, 316L polished stainless steel pedestal is both beautiful and practical as it can be easily removed if
space is needed. Standard height is 28” tall, and custom heights are available.
