Signaling Your Way to More Defensive Tricks (Bridge)
6 weeks
Do you wonder why others defeat contracts you and your partner do
not? The answer is most likely that you aren’t using signals correctly on
defense. While there are three basic kinds of signals, you need to understand when one uses an attitude vs. a suit preference vs. a count signal.
How are they applied when following suit and how when making a discard. You do not need a partner to attend, but thin of the benefit of having you and your partner understand each other’s signal. As a declarer,
you will understand what the defenders are telling each other.

Japanese Gardens - JMK Nippon Restaurant—Rockford, IL
The three essential elements that were used to create this Japanese Garden were stone, water and plants.
Take a guided tour of John Anderson’s creation who transformed his swampy backyard along Rockford’s
Spring Creek into a lovely Japanese Garden. Mr. Anderson used design help from Master Craftsman and designer Hoi chi Kurusu. Mr. Kurusu carefully helped lay out every rock in alignment with every tree and every
layout of all paths throughout the gardens. The principles of the garden are to create a work of natural art
that inspires calm, renewal, discovery and invigorating the soul. This garden exemplifies the Japanese cultural heritage of respectful humility in service to people of all cultures. Following the tour, lunch will be at
the JMK Nippon, Midwest's finest Japanese Restaurant. Your food choice includes: Chicken or Tilapia. Each
entre includes Onion Soup, Nippon Salad Bowl, Hibachi Vegetables, Steamed Rice, Pepsi products, Tea, Lemonade and Japanese ice cream for dessert. After the delicious meal, we will have the chance to walk off our
